He doesn’t own it , Your Not allowed to own the land its on and only 40% of any Buildings. Only a Philippine can Own Land and the other 60% of the Building… If his Wife leaves Him she could end up with everything by Refusing to sell on a divorce, He would have to settle on a Price and in most cases Thats around 20% so be carful…..

Based on the video footage it was a very reasonable price since the size of the lot where maybe worth more or less15 milion pesos it is so big and wide.

Beautiful home, so much sentimental value and care put in. I would purchase it but I don’t have that cash lying around. Even in the US, it’s hard to finance that much. 30 year mortgage at current APR your looking at 6k a month. Even at a quarter of the price, your going to be hard press finding a cash buyer. Realistically, your better off renting it out. Good luck in Sweden bud.

It is not so easy to manage a property from a distance, because the damage from tenants can be greater than the profit

Our firsr plan upon retirement, but as,a filipina I changed my mind for medical access reasons later in time as,we get older. At that price, we own a 26acre property, building a house, have a farm and put aside for vacations. Nice house there though.

Contact Hollywood. This will be a good set for a movie/reality show. How much is his yearly maintenance/utilty cost? Prolly, one of the most important info missing in this video. So customized that you have to find a buyer who is a prepper, tennis player, shooter, and likes tight rooms. A prepper would want an underground bomb shelter with NBC air filter though. Goodluck.

i think someone will just grab this as 65M is quite reasonable, I would say cheap. I wish they keep it for themselves as time can fly so fast and they might want a holiday home, esp wirh 5 children. Willbe very hard to build same size of house now a days with that prize and quality.

This is so cool me and my fiancé have been together now going on seven years and planning on having a baby and I want to move to the Philippines for a while to raise the baby up some before I bring the baby back to the United States…. And for three years I have been looking up ideas for building. Her brother is already in a construction company and I have investors already on our side so if I was to build a house like this, I would actually be building it for only $500,000 American because I have eliminated a lot of other things but I want to say this is so totally awesome seeing a guy like him with his wife because I am the exact same. I want to start a family and my wife been from Calboyog WEST SUMAR!!! I can’t wait to get there and start some companies there for her family… but this house I’m definitely using as a blueprint for my compound

I’d like to make an offer. But I’m afraid I’d insult him. I couldn’t justify giving him anywhere near the asking price. The cost to maintain a house like that is very expensive. Wear and tear, maintenance, staff, etc. But I hope he can find someone who will give him close to what he wants.
