Críes in deep set, hooded and slightly downturned eyes. Honestly I just keep it simple with a glittery cat eye since most looks are impossible with my eye shape period. Add that I have medium dark coloring with very dark hair, light brown brown eyes. My eyes and my skin are nearly the same color. I only look good in vampy or cool toned gemstone colors to begin with...which is like 3 colors: Purple, dark blues, silver, gold, dark green and let’s just say that I just stick to lipstick. Since they rarely make cool toned eyeshadows or neutral metallics in makeup it’s hard. Alternative beauty brands that lean slightly “Gothic” like Lime Crime or Melt Cosmetics sometimes make colors that suit me but fast discontinue them. Those colors deemed “gothic” don’t look stark on me, they make me look radiant and alive, happy even, which is ironic because people get them to look more “subdued”. On the plus side I at least got good teeth and full lips, and lipstick highlights them. Gotta play the hand you were dealt! 😂

I liked seeing all the drug store products, and some mid range price items in this video. Im kind of tired of seeing influencers use (for example) a colour switch when a paper towel will do. Or ultra high priced items throughout their entire videos. Beautiful look, thanks for the tutorial.

I bought an off-brand colour switch from yesstyle for like $3. It ends up being less expensive, over time. Just a weird example, because they're not expensive to buy, and even less expensive to make, and a very useful tool to have.

I use a towel to wipe my brushes when doing my makeup. And most of my brushes were bought from Walmart lol they work just fine!

I remembered when Pat did the commercial for Covergirl with Jessica Stam years ago. She was only using her hands and she only had I believe 3 or 4 products and she made it work. She is the Picasso of the makeup world. And the fact that she always does the makeup of every Vogue Italia cover model alongside Meisel speaks for her talent

Alexandra, I have a tip for you to get your liner to stay on your waterline if your eyes are watering. Gently, hold your bottom lid down and dry your waterline then immediately line your eye...perfect every time!

Thank you for being so real, pat mcgrath products feel so elite and unattainable and they feel even further out of reach when influencers choose to use them as a status symbol instead of tools for creativity. Seeing someone use her products for art and in conjunction with drugstore products makes the brand as a whole feel so much more inviting ❤️

I appreciate so much you come on bare face, especially not concealing your under eye darkness, like most beauty influencers will do (and say they don’t have anything on.) I am so conscious of the darkness under my eyes, gave up on thinking I could correctly conceal it until I landed on your channel and learned it could be done, and piling on product or using too light of a concealer does nothing but make the under eyes more noticeable.

This foundation is excellent, even for mixing with other foundations. It’s so light and natural and not greasy like the It Cosmetics original CC cream. They nailed this formula. That highlighter falling out is unacceptable with the price they charge and baked products are fragile to begin with, so that packaging makes no sense. Natasha Denona shadows always fall out too and for her prices too, that should never happen.

I've had that highlight palette since it came out and I've never had any issues with it. Also, I own a few ND palettes and I've never experienced that either. Granted, I don't travel with any of it. It all sits stationary in a palette organizer unless I'm using it

Gurrl, I just need to compliment you. I will watch and rewatch this video ad infinitum because I think this is the best and most precise smokey eye tutorial on all KZfaq, with arguably the best end result. I think it’s especially helpful because of how well you blow out the lower lash line. I’ve found this video so helpful in trying to figure something nice out for my sagging, hooded eye sockets. I have barely any lid space, but this technique still seems to work for me.

Love it! So fantastic that you are telling people that as beautiful as it all looks, no one is perfect, and the only way to achieve perfection is editing. A little helpful tip if when you apply lashes, and they are slightly uneven, or the glue gums up the shadow a bit, you can go over the edge of the lash band with liquid liner, and that will hide imperfections.

Check out Crystal Lindys video how to do a winged eyeliner on hooded lids. It will open your eyes. Literally!

I actually recommend the KZfaqr Alissa Ashley. She has true hooded eyes so all of her makeup videos should help you.

Pamela Wolf i've definitely done that before but i try not to anymore bc cream and liquid products can grow bacteria and give you eye infections

Hey, these are awesome! I have the bronze seduction palette and I’m often at a loss in experimenting with looks. I’ll usually fall back on the PMG Lab vids, which are gorgeous, but glitter-heavy. Most KZfaq makeup gurus also prefer to stick with the metallic shades (for obvious reasons, they’re stunning). I’d love to learn how to utilize the remainder of the palette, but I have no idea on how to build an “everyday” or matte look with this palette. Would love to see more. Thank you!

ok can i just say I love you. Ive stopped watching makeup tutorials just because Im not into watching these fake peachy personalities that I know arent real so I get bored, and youre just so refreshing to see a natural personality, well explained, very talented person on youtube. Definitely subscribed, wanna be like you when I grow up... tho I think Im older than you XD

Oh, man, you are stunningly gorgeous with a bare face. You could wear no makeup ever and be more beautiful than women with full faces of it. I wish I had your bare eyebrows.
