Sadly, we don't have autumn or winter here in our country that's why I mostly read these whimsical and wintery vibe books in 1-5 am bcos that's the coldest time in our country but at 6am it's already burning hot in here not fair huhu 😭

I’m LOVING these videos. I homeschool my two first grade boys and made the fatal mistake of letting them listen to the first 4 Harry Potter books this year and now every book suggested for their age is a complete bore to them. Whoops! So I’m constantly digging for good books to listen to together.

You have to read The Secret Garden on 81st Street! It’s a middle grade graphic novel and it is amazing! I just read it and I loved it so much, it’s one of my favorite books now, it made me smile.

A Wolf for a Spell by Karah Sutton - one of my favorite reads last winter. The Wolf of Cape Fen by Juliana Brandt - Lexi, I think you'd particularly like this one as it gave me Summer of Salt vibes, two sisters, on an island, but colder season (or rather, Summer of Salt, which I read after this book, gave me The Wolf of Cape Fen vibes.) And finally, How to Disappear Completely by Ali Standish - it takes place over several seasons but finishes up during the winter holidays. It was one of my favorite middle grades to date this year.
