The phrase-by-phrase breakdown in the tight shot is fantastic, but what makes you my new favorite internet guitar teacher is....it's not about you. You ask nothing of me. You don't ask me to "like" or "subscribe" (I've done both), you don't introduce yourself, you don't talk to me, you don't even look at me. You are the first not-needy guitar teacher on youtube. This is the best way to learn solos. Performance of the solo, then the solo cut down into reasonably similar licks, numbered, without confusing narration, and with the right tabs, played at a reasonable speed.

I can't stand it when guys spend 20 minutes "umm...uhhh...here's how to bend a note." This was efficient and almost perfect. I also know it was a bit of work, so thank you very much.

This is the best Lesson I've ever seen. No boring explainations. Just TAB and playing it lick by lick. This is a genius lesson. If anyone wants to learn about scales and other stuff, look it up on your own. This guy gets right to the point. Excellent. I have a few videos I play note for note but I don't slow it down or explain or tab. I think I may have to learn how to do the split screen and tab thing to help anyone who wants to learn. Great job! First you learn the solo then you learn the timing. Love how it builds the tension by always being a little behind the tempo until the very end. The hesitation on each lick. No guitarists do much of that anymore.

I've been playing for 21 years man and, with the risk of sounding arrogant, I absolutely consider myself and expert guitar player. Having said that, I've never been able to capture the essence of Jimmy Page's phrasing until this video. Idk why or how it hit me exactly but it did and I thank you for it.

I don't know why he doesn't have a massive following, he is incredibly good and plays these solos spot on, then the lack breakdown where you can see what he is doing makes it so much easier to learn them, I wish he would do more.
