Today's video is a first impressions review of the On Cloudboom Strike, the brand's latest running shoes. The On Cloudboom Strike will release on July 11 on on.com and on i-run.fr, and later in July at other select retailers. This Prism colorway is super limited in quantities, so first of all thank you very much On for providing us with a sample, and second...if you want it be super quick on July 11 ;-)
The On Cloudboom Strike will retail for €290 / $280 / £270

Modular system: A different insole with more foam in the heel could be dropped in, for example, to give a different ride. Nnormal did this already with the K-Boix.

They make the holes smaller and smaller...until they disappear :) On knows that the cloud pods will not work with high performance shoes. Now their only problem is the price...since it's more expensive than let's say sky/edge paris, it has to be better, which i doubt.
@AlexFilitti

Better than Sky, on par with Edge that’s how I position it. Technically it’s cheaper than an Alphafly which is not bad for a shoe of the same caliber. But yeah overall it’s still too expensive of course and lower prices would be better in general

If you were to glue the top insert it wouldn't too much different than Metaspeed Edge Paris with its high to low plate placement, yet many reviewers consider Edge Paris as a mid to heel striker shoe.

Never like removable insole, especially if you have pronation on your foot strike. Once your feet swell 10k into the run, the insole will just slide to the side due to the pronation on the foot strike. There’s reason glue was applied on the insoles, or else shoe maker would just skip it for cost measures.

You buy "ON" brand not because ot the tech or the style, but to show that you have money. For what they are as a shoe they are hugely overprised, but if you are wearing "ON" you're probably the one of the two runners in your local running community rocking them. It's a rare sight to see ON shoes in the wild to be honest, specially their more premium models. I've seen plenty of the most expensive models of Nike, Adidas, Asics etc, but not ON...
