I first heard this song at my granddaughter’s ballet recital. It moved me so much I had to find who composed it. Found Alexi’s music which lead me to the movie Away We Go which the soundtrack is all Alexi. Amazing how one song can send you down a rabbit hole just to discover more amazing art. This song brings me to tears every time I listen.

I know what you mean. Its just me and my Bossy/Jack Russel mix Sarge. I love that little bugger so much, at times I worry about what if he were to go before I did. I would cry like a baby as I did when my beautiful Bossy, named Pip was hit by a car. I had to put her down myself, I balled like a baby when my kids go home and I had to tell them.

No. For me it was through a House episode where 'Through the Dark' was played. I love great acoustic music and having new songs to learn so I discovered him and I really enjoy his music. His style of playing is right up my alley for what I like to play.
