I wonder how much she talks to Darion on a daily basis if she can’t even go through an hour interview without him interrupting it with his call. And she was smiling about it like it was cute that he called. You aren’t setting the boundaries you spoke about.

Respectfully, she explained away Darion's cheating actions throughout the 14 years. So basically I'm going to quote what the doctor said which was "We can see you love him, but where's the love for yourself?". I feel like she talked about her love for money & working hard, which is great. Now she just needs to love herself so much, she won't allow these men to treat her as if she's not worthy of a respectful relationship. I think she'll get there, she's clearly not ready yet but 14yrs does create a strong soul tie. It's interesting to see that Darian feels comfortable dissing her on the show and on his lives yet she continues to protect him and what's so crazy is that she actually interrupted the interview to take his call...wow, she's really in an alternate universe. Comfort is not growth sis, you can clearly survive without him, just try it.

The first red flag was when her waitress friends said Darion was a player. Can u imagine the different path Alexia would have taken in life if she had listened to them?! WOW!

The problem is i see her justifying the make up to break up instead of seeing it as a problem and that’s why she is here now. Alexia seems very likeable... BUT The defensiveness of it all. Everyone is telling her. It's playing out on TV. She doesn't seem to get it. She refuses to admit that he's a manipulator. She keeps saying she didn't know anything...then saying she didn't have proof..."I swept things under the rug" means there are things to sweep, but Kojo is asking her about those things and she gets defensive. That means she knew he was possibly being shady. She's being wilfully ignorant to answering Kojo's questions, and accepting that she chose to be blind towards Darion's foolishness. Especially with the other women who have come forward and the fact that he seemed to be living with another woman during the last 4 years that she claims on their relationship, it seems like she's making more of what they had, or she just blindly believed what he said and ignored the fact that his actions didn't match. She only wants to believe what she chooses to. There are too many instances of his bad behavior. Too many excuses. His last child is still very young. There's a marriage in there somewhere. It's like they're living in different dimensions! I've been in a situation similar to hers, except the guy was less problematic than Darrion. Looking back I can accept that he was playing me because of my feelings for him and I was being naive. Sometimes you just have to call a thing a thing.

Great interview Kojo, as always. Unfortunately I cringed this whole interview with her. She rambled on and on so many times, and was very defensive and prideful. You can tell she’s not comfortable with facing the truth and would prefer to live a fantasy life. No matter how careful, and graceful you were with your approach and questions, she seemed immediately uncomfortable, defensive and couldn’t let you finish questions. Praying for her and that she gets the help she needs.

She’s lying to herself which explains why she wasted so much time in that relationship.

I understood her. She and Darion where on and off doing there thing till she retired and THEN they BOTH decided to commit to their relationship 100% and that was the impression she was going on and in that time frame there was no major issue. I can see where she believed they were on a clean slate and new beginning but sadly it was ONE sided. I’m glad to see her smiling and living her life, she seems like she’s got a lot for herself going on.

I think it’s more constructive, smart, positive, and mature to look at how we can learn from the mistakes of others rather than to bash and act as if many of us haven’t made the same mistakes and learned from them. The lesson here : TRUST YOUR gut or woman’s intuition. And when someone shows you who they are believe them. People who misbehave and are problematic generally get worse over time not better in relationships.

Believe it or not a lot ofnus women go through this. We meet a guy who captures our entire being and we forget to be ourselves we start living for that person. We are entangled and wrap up in that person. My first love was like that and it lasted for 7 to 8 yrs. Even when he was unfaithful and left me with a wedding dress in my closet I still wanted to understand him. I wanted to give him time to explain. I wanted the reassurance. I still reach out to him afterwards. I spent about a year actually trying to get back with him. Even during my healing I wanted to still be friends. It took years of being around loved ones, counseling, self work and self care to actually get over him and be able to walk again in my being. To be able to regain myself and fall in love with myself again. I definitely understand Alexia. It is going to be a process. She will need counseling, therapy, loved ones to be there for her and support her. I pray she finds herself again and wish her all the best.

This was triggering for me. I had a friend like her and its heart breaking to see a woman who has so much to give, give it to the wrong person. Someone that takes advantage of her kind, giving and trusting nature. I encourage her to go to counseling and to do some shadow work to get grounded and comfortable in who SHE is (not the things she is doing or has accomplished) and how she is showing up in the world. I hope the right man shows up for her once she has done some of the work. After watching Darion’s interview, I don’t think I feel the same as I did after watching her interview. Not that Darion was 100% honest but its clear they were never in a legit serious relationship.

The ego is a real thing. I can totally relate to her. We all played somebody’s fool at some point. I think her defensiveness stems from having to confront herself. She has to face the woman in the mirror. I think she wants marriage so bad that she moved about the process just like work. -for example, If I practice, give a demo video of me playing ball and network I will get the job or scholarship.
