Thank you for uploading. This "musical marathon" is completely new to me. Interesting format breaking the tradition of formal concert with squeezing in interviews and informal discussions. It is unfortunate that "Otche nash" was cut out from the program. This piece is indeed profoundly moving in Greorgi Robev/Bulgarian National Choir's rendition. If possible, please, put it back to the original recording. How sad is that Weissenberg, Tchakarov, Karajan and Rampal are not among us anymore. This is program is a tribute to Weissenberg and Tchakarov who were immensely talented and undeservedly in the shadow of others. Hope this video will keep the memory of them alive.

この素晴らしいフランスの番組をアップロードしてくださり、ありがとうございます。 80年代後半にパーキンソン病になったワイセンベルクさん。90年代はコンサートやレコーディングも無く、どうしたのかと思っていたら、難病になりキャリアを終わられていたのですね。 30年も病と闘い、亡くなられたワイセンベルクさん。私は今、ＣＤをたくさん買い求めて、毎日聴いて感動しています。演奏する姿が冷たいとか言われますが、泣きそうな顔や厳かな顔が演奏に関係あるでしょうか。ワイセンベルクさんのピアノはいつも情熱的で熱いです。ワイセンベルクさん、素晴らしいコンサート、本当にありがとうございました! いつまでも忘れません。

At 1.01.12 Weissenberg is making it easy for himself. Try out the Arrau 1984 performance and you will see what Brahms really composed. Arrau was a 100 times greater technician and a 1000 times greater interpreter than Weissenberg.
