I'm 92 years old and came across Emma's Voila as an Andre Reiu fan. I was not affected by the intro but could not believe how emotional a reaction I had without understanding the words but seeing and hearing her moved me very much. I don.t know how many 100 times I've listened to her Voila since and I've listened to every song of hers I could find on the internet most multiple times. I also listened to the number 2 Eurovision performance by Barbara Previ. Thanks so much to Previ for writing a song that inspired Emma's performance which was so great.

That was a spectacular performance. It was beautiful. Emma has a way of drawing you in slowly before piercing your very soul with the mellifluous and heavenly resonance of her voice. It is pure artistry and Emma is already a master. This was so beautiful. It can't be said enough.

First time I heard Voila the video started with the singing. Not knowing about here difficulties didn't effect my reaction to her singing at all. My first time hearing this song and I liked it. Most try to belt it out like a pop song and she kept it sweet and restrained. Excellent.

Emma knows very well what she is singing with her beautiful voice, she really wants to share this with us. She cannot act out the emotions that are released and affect everyone, they come directly from her soul. Her performances are simply supernatural..

Hi Alex I saw your reaction to Emma Kok with voila, and I agree with you about the song its not about her illness which is unfortunate sadly but its about her singing with emotions and passion and she puts that out to the crowd she's giving a piece of herself into the songs.

Gastroparesis effects your stomach , your throat is part of the stomach , to be able to sing that way is incredible . Gastroparesis is very painful and debilitating and she steps beyond her pain and struggles and sings like a piece of heaven

I have been impressed with Emma since she took part in “The Voice Kids Netherlands”. I was absolutely thrilled and moved by her performance of the song Voilà with Andre Rieu's orchestra; it was only afterwards that I found out about her illness. Since then I've thought: It's not just her voice that's extraordinary, but Emma herself. She sings with her heart and soul, she's just great. Their reactions to their performances completely correspond to my feelings.

I totally agree with you", but I have no doubt that Emma's story is helping to let emotions flow in the audience as they did with "Voilà. And on top of that Emma is one of not many young singers who is capable to convey emotions with her voice and the way of performing. Angelina Jordan, Amira Willighagen and Lucy Thomas do have that gift as well. And I think it has all to in understanding what you are singing about and make that your own. This song is a wonderful one and Emma has done a great job here again. I do not know who has made this arrangement for Emma, but to me he/she has changed the song a bit too much. When you like: listen to the rendition Lucy Thomas has recorded from this song a few years ago, when she was 16, just to compare. When you do that, I think you find yourself a new "rabbithole" to dive in.

Muchos creen que para sobresalir deben usar todo su repertorio vocálico y mientras más altas sean las notas, aún cuando no sea necesario, es mejor. Una cancion susurrada puede ser mucho más efectiva que un griterio innecesario. Ponen sus habilidades por sobre la canción en lugar de entregarse a la lírica del tema y ser otra parte importante en la interpretación.
