Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
CFTC Rules 4.41 - Hypothetical Performance Disclosure: Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.

Thank you for a thoroughly explained video. From my experience in investing, having made more than 6 figures net profit over the past few of years, I'd say having an expert handle your financial investments is the best way to earn passively and can also go a long way in helping you gain confidence to trade yourself. Not everyone is built for the ups and downs themselves, especially when starting out newly.

I rely on his years of successful trading to keep me earning passively. I'm sure he can get you started as well. He does charge for his services, it'll help to have that in mind

Why Alexs Options current subscriber count does not equal the high number of views of this outstanding video is beyond me. I just heard about theSTRAT last week and have been searching for information online that makes sense to me. FINALLY I found information that makes sense to me. I appreciate you. And the fact that he is willing to share the information about free indicators is a boss move and puts him in a class of new age traders I call conscious traders because he cares about others and will use his time and energy to help us all. What makes a bar be called 1, 2 or 3? Edit: I later understood that candle 3 is one that takes both high and low of a previous candle. The question about candles 1 and 2 remains.

I'm confused at the 4:50 mark, you state "after an inside bar, there HAS to be a 2, there cannot be a candlestick that occurs that is not a 2", then you state there can be a 1, an inside bar inside of the (1). But why can't there be a 3 that comes after the 1? If that is true, then there actually can be a 1,2 or 3 that comes after a 1, correct?

Hi Alex, a friend sent me to you to learn the strat. Great video, but I'm very confused on something. In the presentation you show to enter your trade when the 2 bar passes the top of the wick or the bottom of the wick for the 1 bar. But how the heck is that possible? Everytime I get a 1 bar and the 2 bar gets close to the top wick of the 1 bar I'll hit buy, but based on the bid, ask and how fast the 2 bar is moving it never fills exactly on the wick? I've had one or two times where the 2 bars gets to the exact spot of the wick, top or bottom, but it hasn't passed it yet so I can't take that trade as I don't know what direction. I'm so confused. How do I enter exactly on the wicks of the 1 bar as the 2 bar passes them? I hope this makes sense because all your pictures show entry at the wick level as the 2 bar passes. Any help would be amazing. Love the video! Btw I trade on 3 min/5 min

Question;The Rev strat and the inside bar reversal are the same exact set up. The only difference is you are taking one long and one short. Is the Rev strat a failed inside bar reversal? Or is it the placement of the 1 bar?

Alex thanks for your videos. I just finished watching the one about using the strat on a lower timeframe and I noticed there was a "volume warning" indicator pop up on your TOS chart about half way through. Can you tell me if that's what that was and if so tell me where I can get a copy of that indicator? I looked via a web search and UseThinkScript but found nothing. Thanks again.

You lost me at broadening formation. How can the trend line predict future?

It isn't predicting anything, when you trade what price is doing such as taking out last months highs (obviously something bullish) you're trading what is OCCURING. The broadening formation simply gives us the larger timeframe outside bars that we're unable to see & therefore helps us gauge where price is going. This is because price takes out both sides of a range, that idea is given to us from the scenario 3 (outside bar). The scenario 3 is definitely a broadening formation on a lower timeframe & definitely has to be a 2 before it can be a 3. Therefore if you're trading using the broadening formation, aka larger timeframe outside bars. You can trade the 2 that is FAILING and attempting to go 3 which gives us the magnitude. Go to any long term chart that is not going straight up and you will see broadening formations, the best examples off the top of my head were shown in the video. $CCL yearly chart & $SPY weekly/monthly chart. Along with $FAS $DIA etc. When things are moving very strongly they will not have a large broadening formation on the higher timeframe because of exactly that thing, that does not discredit the PHENOMENON. All that means is that it is not occurring on the larger timeframe and instead is occurring on the smaller ones. For example $QQQ isn't going to have a large BF on the monthly but if you head to the daily you're going to see them everywhere. Once again, it is a PHENOMENON, we know it occurs but we also know it does not HAVE to occur. Therefore we only draw what we see and only trade what we know to be true. Hopefully that cleared some things up.

Depends how you trade it. If you wait for simultaneous breaks you can get very high win rates. If you’re trading everything you’ll land around 30% but the “home run rate” is what matters because we add to winners and cut losers quickly
