A guide on changing CV boot/Gaitors on a Busso V6 drivshaft. Yeah i know ive spelt gaiter wrong in the thumbnail lol.

I had to replace my outer joints because the seals had broke and most of the grease came out destroying the bearings prematurely.

Universal Power this was more of a preemptive repair as they where cracking.

Heard some clunky noise on my 156 when turning the steering all the way while turning, what there is usually with driveshafts that breaks?

Hahaha 😆😂. .sounds like a Golf 3.2 R32 can't start a V6 alfa romeo 147 with extra. Good job👍✌.

Great video Neil! 👍🏻 Just wondering... only my inner cv boot needs replacing on my GT V6. Can you just change the inner one with the axle still attached to the hub? 👍🏻

Is the inner joint similar in the 2.0 selespeed? I can't get the outer joint to come out of the shaft so I'm considering taking the whole shaft out like you did.

Its alot easier my way. But takes longer.

I took the shaft out and replaced both boots, was fairly easy. There was an extra dust cap in the inner end but otherwise very similar. I think it's funny you should have made this video like 24 hours before I came searching for it. Great timing!
