i had a gtv 2000, all noise and no speed, the only fast thing about it was the way the rust ate the bodywork!

maybe you should have looked after it and learned to drive,Bliss of the perpetually ignorant ,"the only bla bla bla"...the fastest ones were aluminium and they were way ahead of their time in engine development too.

Pretty much the only way to have one of these now...find a fully restored one $$$, likely the rusted out bodies have been repaired & treated (otherwise they wouldn't be intact by now), remove the ancient engine/transmission, remove & replace the whole wiring & instrumentation with new/modern...apply full sound deadening thru-out ...install the Honda F20C 247 Hp engine...With all these updates the car would be quite the ride. The Alfa purists will be all up in arms no doubt, but they easily forget the 8C had a Maserati/Ferrari engine, & they didn't get all bitchy about that? Perhaps when you rocket past them at the club-meet...and the full-race, high compression participants can't get their race-gas only cars started...(Honey?, you didn't put pump-gas in this, did you?..)....your modern 247 Hp version mike make some converts.

Except nobody who actually drove a gt veloce 2000 would ever say this. Tell me what the three things u see under the rpm counter do, how you opened the rear bonnet and how was the car jack shaped, since you had one it should be easy to answer, lol! *[googling intensifies]*
