Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Carbon Fiber Mirror cover installation. There are many options on the market these are from Italy and real carbon fiber. This is not the easiest DIY so go seek a professional auto body shop if your not confident to tackle this. If you are pick up these tools below and do it in an hours worth of time.

I accidentally clipped & cracked my side mirror backing into the garage the other day so using the opportunity to upgrade to carbon fibre. Thanks for another in-depth quality video ✌🏽

On this car, I actually don't prefer the carbon fiber side mirrors. I feel like the the CF mirrors actually clash a little bit with the body; kind of competing for attention. I guess this is dependent on your car's color though. I think they would look great on a white one.

If you need to open that mirror in the future, be sure to buy new one. I suggest to buy adhesive caps, not so nice like those ones but much more safe.

Looks very nice. Much nicer than the stick on caps with the lip albeit a bit more difficult to install. I’m considering this on my Rosso Comp QV. The carbon pieces contrast even better on the red cars. I do wish they offered the exposed carbon roof when I bought mine but it supposed to be available as a $3k option...

il show you when we meet up i can do these for you whenever you like. I think the roof was not exposed based on the weave they must have used the roof is very thin and flimsy to the touch unlike the BMW carbon roofs.

Auto Fanatic yeah they seem like they just wanted it light as possible and didn’t care as much about aesthetics because it does feel super thin on the roof. Carbon splitter (much bigger than people realize because it goes under the car a few feet), hood, roof, side skirts, rear lip spoiler and prop shaft all carbon...

the more i analyzed the car on the lift the strength is not coming from anywhere near the roof but the pillars and the tied in aluminum subframes exactly how Ferrari builds all of their cars today. that is why you can drive a new Portofino or California wit the rood down on these horrible NY roads and the car is so solid with zero cowl shake. They used the secret formula in Maranello on this car i feel it more each day I drive it.

Auto Fanatic yeah very very solid car. Underneath on a lift you can see some really beefy castings. The really nice thing is much of the design is identical even on the base cars and Stelvio’s, just some of the bigger beautiful cast aluminum bits are replaced with more conventional steel stampings in places but still beefier than many modern competitors. Really impressive. I was up at Miller Motorcars for their autumn rally a week ago and they had a bunch of cars up on lifts and Stelvios looked really well made underneath, much better than the Maserati’s that cost lots more. Maybe not as nice as the Dozen Bugatti’s and Pagani’s they had though lol I’ll give you a call tomorrow...

Do the caps need to come off if you need to replace a signal lamp in the lower mirror housing?

no a small flat blade removes the lenses but the bulb change would be rare these days on something like this unless the car was in an accident.

Different topic, but can you reupload your q50 red sport review that you took down? Or atleast tell me which tires you recommended you swap with, as well as the lowering springs.

I already order this from Koshi for my Stelvio... and I was thinking to do the same process you did, but in the comments you said you would do this differently. How so? Any advise?

buy mirror caps that do not need to be glued on this is a PITA i do not recommend unless your well equipped and experienced.

@@autofanaticcars I’m sorry, I just realized that I make mine comment on the wrong video, I was referring to the V shape front grill carbon fiber installation, that I order from Koshi (I already bought the mirror caps you mentioned)

Nice work and excellent video? Have you tried installing the carbon fiber gear shift trim piece yet? I was unable to do it; Didn’t seem to fit right. Also anxious to hear about your alcantara trim go the door side panels.

At that price they should fit perfect, glue is good but if you ever want to revert back to factory it will be a nightmare.

I know you mentioned tape is no good for the front grill v but for the purposes of removal for the reasons stated above and work being needed in the mirror mechanism would the tape be a better option than glue? Videos are the best keep up the outstanding work. Thx.
