Alfa Romeo Guilietta 940 headlight removal and bulb replacement

This is a quick video on changing the headlight bulbs on Kim's Guilitetta. I replaced them with a set of night eye led bulbs as an upgrade on the standard halogen bulbs.

Just replaced my headlamps today. I tend to put the bolt back in behind the bumper finger tight, so it’s easier to remove next time. Good tip on removing the lower bumper fixings - I didn’t do that. I also found that you can adjust the height of the bumper relative to the bonnet by putting your T55 torx into the bumper fixing hole and turning in the opposite direction to the fixing bolt - this adjusts the height of the bumper fixing allowing you to adjust the panel gap to the bonnet leading edge. My wheelarch liner screws are cross heads.

Hello, do you have a EZ Lip on? Or is it another kind of lip? If so just glued on by tape or did u use screws? Thx best regards

Yeah it's a cheap ez lip or rhino lip splitter, it's screwed on too every couple inches, just stops it getting pulled off by speed bumps or curbs

Great work. I'll be sure to be following your video to when I come to replace the halogen lights. Can you link to the Leds you had purchased and did they come with the holders or was that separate? Thanks for taking the time out to share your knowledge/experience and efforts.

I will see if I can find the link for the bulbs and let you know. The bulbs came as a kit so just pull old bulb out and fit the new LEDs.

@@ThePhilBilly You're an absolute champ. Much appreciated, had to replace a faulty lamp with a cheapo replacement. Using your video as a guide it gave me the opportunity to do a test run/replace faulty lamp. It was a straightforward and smooth operation thanks to you 👍Next stop eBay!

Hello, Is this a D1S exenon in your hand or Led? If this is the Led were then is de D1S?

These were LEDs if I'm honest I cant remember if they were D1s or not I will have a look see if I can find a receipt anywhere.

@@ThePhilBilly it is complicated because I want change my exenon bulb lamp and I don't know where this is located. Alfa told me to aaccess D1S the bumper most be out. So I seen vid to remove de bumper but there is still no information about this exenon. If it was no exenon is was simpel a H7. This is the only one that I know where this is locates the H7 the rest no clue.
