A voice like no other, he makes any song his own. A unique and very underrated talent, I have also met him and he is so down to earth it is unbelievable, I even forgot to ask for an autograph! It was like chatting with a good friend. Great bloke, no other way to describe him.

I am 50 years of age now I have followed and go to as many Gigs as I can since the age of 14 years old and that's a long time but where are you going to hear a Voice like Ali cambil and robin and least of all Astro and Mickey one of the best reggae bands in the world and still have it red red wine was one of my first time to hear from UB#40 and still the best reggae bands on the planet

This is by far one of their best covers. Ali will always be the UB40 voice. I wish the brothers could get their shit together and settle their differences. If they could regroup UB40 would be unstoppable. RIP Astro!

And to have sold over 70 million albums in 30 plus years is astonishing. To have one of the most sold singles (No. 17 out of the top 20 of all time) Red Red Wine is something that only less than 1% of bands can say they have accomplished. The story of how UB40 is one in which a movie should be made. Ali, A step and Mickey still selling sold out shows wherever they go. The rest of the group that calls themselves UB40 need to just hang it up because Duncan cannot continue destroying the UB40 legacy.
