I think realizing that KZfaq is a long game and that these videos are investments is truly the difference between successful content creators and non successful ones

Just something I noticed in the video. MKBHD said it took him 5 months and 200 videos. That means he averaged MORE THAN A VIDEO A DAY. He made 200 videos in about 150 days. It doesn't just take time. It takes a whole lot of work and dedication.

What I love about this video is that it literally tells you in the first 10 seconds how much he made. If it was guarded until I'm 70% through, I'd click away as soon as I find out, but being told immediately makes me think it must not be the most valuable part of the video - maybe some tips will follow. So I keep watching. Brilliant.

It’s interesting how much the CPM rate varies by creator. I have a video with over 2 million views and it made me $32,000

Hi Ali, I started my youtube channel about a year ago and I knew nothing about editing. I’ve been watching your videos for awhile and I ended up joining the skill share course where you teach us how to edit on final cut pro. After finishing that course I posted my first ever video on this youtube channel. After trying a bunch of niches and making 40+ videos in over a year (most of them are unlisted now) I finally got a viral video that changed my channel and possibly my life forever. I went from 200 to 12k subscribers in 2 weeks and I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the skills needed to make valuable videos to people around the world.

In reality: 10 years on KZfaq, 60k views per month = £400 to £500 per month.

Some youtube experts claim that it's the first 24 hours that are important and if your video doesn't perform within the first 24 hours, nothing is going to happen with it. So thanks again.

I've been making videos for YEARS and I'm growing at a seemingly slow pace. Are my videos just not good enough, not interesting enough, bad SEO, something else, or a combination? Feels like I've been working the last 3+ years for nothing. Don't get me wrong, I love the process, but sometimes it's easy to lose motivation when I'm not rewarded for my work. Any thoughts?

It has been exactly one year ( 21st of July) since Ali recommended me to start a KZfaq channel and After one year of experience I can say that 1. make more videos ( 3 times at least) 2. you don't need to edit Fancy stuff at first, just record and upload as a unfiltered video which is kind of trending right now 3. make videos on short easy topics topics that you already know, don't ever do what I had done which is that making videos on topics that you still don't know and are researching continuously about that. so talk about stuff that you already know 4. don't make very big type of videos at first like my whole productivity system don't make videos like that at first start with small video ideas like ( the feature I love the most about notion ) 5. don't worry about production quality, the audio and video both are really good in smartphones record in a quiet environment and ideally the best video quality you would get is actually from the windows.. remember ( brighter image equal to sharper image) that means the more light you have the better your videos will be. shoot videos outdoors And it takes time so don't give up

Starting is hard Persisting is even harder Enjoy the journey and money will be added as a byproduct

I started a gaming channel on KZfaq videos two years ago and I soon realised that playing games on this platform doesn't make that much money or keen people's interest unless you're really good at the game you play, or have a personality and are constantly making jokes. I also found out how much time and effort goes in to making videos because firstly, you have to write a script for a video, then you have to film it which you might have to do a few retakes to start of with, then you edit by cutting down every little bit, then you apply aftereffects to make it more fancier, then you render your video which can take ages and finally, you design a good thumbnail and title because these days they mean everything. If both are not good, people won't click on the video and you won't get any views.

So inspiring 👏🏼 Congratulations, mentor! 🤙🏼
