Find stocks with yields that exceed the market and stocks that, at the very least, follow the long-term market trend. However, you should get guidance from a financial advisor if you want to create a successful long-term plan...

Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $121k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. It's a common misconception that when a stock you buy skyrockets, the smart thing to do is sell it (or at least sell some of it) to lock in your profits. But the context matters. If the stock has increased sharply because the business is performing exceptionally well, it could still be a bargain. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.

Amazing video, I feel like I'm late to the game in late 30s, but I'm doing a 1-year second CS degree. Did health sciences in my teens/20s but didn't make it into med school and worked in analytics up to now.

Thank you for this , as a 25 year old and having a problem with question " am i late or is it late to start with 25" i am now assured how young i am actually. You really helped me see things as they are . I am now sure that is it not late and ill go right after it.

So good to see someone sharing about COACHING With the education bashing and, mix in the spruikers, non-traditional education via coaches and mentors have gotten a sour rep and stopping so many young people from unlocking their potential. We tried to get my little bro-in-law to get his own mentor, but he's so stuck in the mindset of trading time for money that it hurts to watch 😢

I would argue the "content business" is still just a product business, the product being that said content. Just as making movies or books is a product business, the product being the book or movie. Only difference is the extra hoops jumped with monetization going through advertisers or subscription services, instead of directly from consumer to creator. The consumer is still consuming that content, being the product. The payment method is just different, just like a construction company's product is the house they build and sell, even though it will be paid by a financial institution on behalf of the consumer, in exchange for a monthly instalment and interest.

Hey Ali, I'm just so happy that the algorithm got me here, your video gave me hope after I had some weeks down thinking about life and stuff. I went even straight away and bought your book. I think it's a cool thing (? can't wait to keep learning from you.

Have a bias toward action and enjoy the journey. Love it! Also making a mental note of the three types of businesses you explained... 1. Service Business: This is where you provide a service and charge money for it. Examples include being an accountant, mechanic, plumber, or freelance web designer. You are solving a problem (e.g., fixing a car, designing a website) and charging for the solution. 2. Product Business: In this type of business, you create a product and sell it to customers. For example, if you own a bakery, you bake bread and sell it. The bakery is the machine (the business), and the bread is the product. The people who bake the bread are the cogs (employees) in the machine. 3. Content Business: This is a more modern type of business where you create content online (like videos, blogs, or podcasts) and monetize it through advertising or other means. It's a bit different from the traditional service or product business because the content itself is the product, and you're earning revenue through ads, sponsorships, or selling related products or services.
