i love how well this works with the second brain concept. i was initially nervous about having my calendar so filled up but now that i’ve blocked everything it frees up so much space in my mind!

Whew. This video covers a LOT of ground around life-balance, goal-setting, and the tools towards achieving dreams (I like the word goals, but I love the word dreams). My favourite aspect is the idea of articulating an ideal month/week/day. This has been very powerful in my own life (and, while not perfect, does provide a restart place when things do go astray). This is quite similar to a mash-up of “7 Habits for Highly Effective People” and “Getting Thing Done”

I'm fascinated that I came to this exact same conclusions and do exact same things that you mentioned without reading them somewhere but just through experience and thinking how could I be more productive

About the ideal week: you can keep a good balance between busy-free time because you have the whole day to work towards your goals, but for a person (like me) who wants to start this process, having a 40h work week it takes much longer to keep all those goals in line. Then again it seems a useful tool, I hope it does not add more stress to my day ;)
