I order my jars and boxes from Alibaba. I can say I was pleasantly surprised, I ordered 250 jars, they added about 17 extra jars (in case any broke) and only 1 jar in the whole order was broken. So I ended up with more jars than I ordered which is great! They put foam board all around the edges of the box and each jar was wrapped with like a foamy wrapping paper.

I am so OCD when my shipments come in I look and inspect every vessel. Takes time but a good audio book or movie helps with the bordem. Got my candle order today from you and had to light one right away. 20 mins in and burning good so far. 👍💞

In all honesty, it doesn't seem too terrible. I do order from candle science as well and live in NY. Almost every single one of a box of jars has at least one broken in it. Candle science is great about replacing, but it seems about normal for the amount and cost savings.

Those jars are so beautiful. So glad this was better!! I was so hoping it would be. How are you handling the broken ones given all the trouble you had? I always hate to use perfect jars for testers so in a way it’s nice there were some that weren’t great! Makes the tester process a bit less painful. Sending you light and again so glad this went better!! ❤😊

It is very interesting to see the process, I've been contemplating buying from Alibaba in the past for my business but then Covid happened and changed everything. Definitely will consider it in the futur though. Little technical feedback on your videos, as someone listening with headphones, it's a little bit hard to hear you well with the music which I think is a bit too loud. Also did you change your mic set up when you do "in front of camera sit down" content? In earlier videos I heard you very nicely from both ears, now I hear your voice in the left ear and music in the right, which makes it a bit more difficult to concentrate on what you are saying, which is a shame cause it's very interesting =)

Hi there! Oh no, I did try to turn down the music a little in this vid but I’ll try to turn it down a little more next time. When I was in the garage, I just had my cell phone to record and no external mic (usually when I record sitting in front of the camera, I use an external mic but it is not compatible with my cell phone which is what I had in the garage.) Can you please let me know if the garage (where I was opening the boxes is where you had most trouble hearing? Thanks and all best 💛🌱

@@earthglow I actually found the garage footage best in terms of sounds. It's more balanced, as in I can hear you in both ears equally, and pretty clearly. I personnaly find the voice in one ear and music in the other more difficult to process if that makes sense ? I think if both came out equally in both sides but with the music toned down it would be really nice. I'm sorry, I know how tricky editing can be. 😓

@@ItsJessie915 My price is always based on COGS (cost of goods). For a handmade product, in order to not be in the red zone, most artisans recommend a min of 4x your ingredient costs for your price. Hope this helps! Love and light 💛✨

Do you arrange carrier / pickup yourself or does the supplier arrange shipping? I’ve been eyeing Alibaba but have noticed the shipping cost washes the savings vs just ordering from US supplier. Maybe I’m just inquiring w the wrong suppliers on Alibaba.

Did they charge you for the box? I noticed that if you want a box, they charge extra. Hopefully they didn’t charge you because you ordered so many.

The shipping company may have dropped the box. I had ups do that to my bath bomb press and my wax melter. And the broke both Im so afraid of shipping But I’m going to keep watching
