Hola Barry... Today is the Feast of St Joan and all those wonderful street sculptures will be ceremonially burned tonight starting at midnight... Quite spectacular

Were in Alicante on Thursday. Walked around to see some of the sculptures & then watched the mascletàs which was packed! Never been in such crowds. Literally had to force our way through.

Oh we allways park at the habour, will have to find your carpark, 5 levels that some carpark❤

Seriously underrated, even on a Thursday night in January downtown is bouncing. You've got the castle, Sandra Cruz barrio, historic centre, main mercado, miles of white sand at San Juan, cycle path all the way to Elche. Downside is the investors moved in a few ago and old areas are pricing out the locals, with Airbnb and aparthotels. We may move there next year but the situation is worrying us, we've seen what's happened in Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga & lately Valencia. We are currently in Jerez for a month looking around the bay of Cadiz. Great video. 👍
