I love what he has to say about John and Paul. Coming from a guy who know them personally, you gotta believe him! John and Paul were always buddies, just like Alice said.

J&P were family. More than friends, they were brothers.

Alice is so insightful! It surprised me how just pleasant he is. I love how mellow he is. And His insight is great, especially about John and Paul.

Great interview. Alice cooper is the real deal. Still sings and performs his ass off to this day.

I still play Max Webster all the time. Best ending to any song ever is the ending to “The Party” by Max. Great lines too. “And we’re just musicians here to thin the thickness of your skin”. Way to go Kim. Saw Max open for RUSH in Toronto at Maple Leaf Gardens.

An absolute "CLASSIC" artist and person if there ever was one. I'm old enough to have enjoyed and lived through the 70's glam era (i.e. Bowie, T-Rex, early Queen, etc.) and I remember how totally freaked out parents were when Alice Cooper first "appeared" on the scene. I would get into arguments with my Dad saying, "Dad, it's just an act-he's no different than an actor playing a part" but it was like talking to a wall most of the time. Oh well...those were the days!

Same here. My dad walked in while I was watching Cooper/ band on TV. He took one look at the screen and whack - off it went. I gave him the same line as you + 'they're making big bucks too.." and that was like a flash of lightening - he went off "I don't CARE how much money they make... there are somethings you just DON'T do to make money !!!" Can't remember the song they were playing - maybe '18' - the live concert with GF Railroad etc. We were officially in different worlds from that day on

What a mix of guys. Different worlds musically (although all under the banner of 'rock'). How many drank themselves into the ground ? I know Bonham used to party with Lennon too. If not for having a family back in the UK, no doubt Bonham would have been right there with them. I'm sure the stories would have been legendary - although Lennons 'tampon' bit was a hoot.

It was funny, because (as cliched as it sounds) I DID, in fact, grow up in a show business family (i.e. music, acting, writing, etc.) so, even though my Father was very square and conservative, you would've thought he'd be just a "little" more open minded about things, especially when I came at him with the parallel about an actor playing a villain, but obviously being a great person in real life! Oh well, Dads of the 60;s and 70's didn't want to hear "logic", I suppose (lol)!
