Around the millennium you could not listen to the radio or walk into a club without hearing "Do you think you’re - Better off Alone?” The smash hit ‘Better off Alone’ was released on april 3rd 1999. The eurodance / eurotrance anthem has 2 official music videos. The first one that was released is called the UK edit.
Released on the notorious Positiva label in the UK, where it hit #1 in the UK Dance charts and #2 in the UK top 40 instantly. It was the original music video directed by the talented Dutch director Olaf van Gerwen.
The music video ‘Better off Alone’ known worldwide is the version that was shot in Miami. In this video we see the sexy Alice Deejay team dancing and singing throughout the video clip.

It's fun that i grew up with listening to trance. Everytime i was with my father, he played so good music to me from i was little and grew older. He took me many times driving through europe with all his trance tracks back in the days! I will never forget how fun it was driving on the autobahn in 240 km/h ++ with trance music loud! Such a rush

Even 2022.. I love the hardcore synth beats... Everything bangs into your face. The only true time when no-one even asked if you had 'taken anything' before entering a nightclub... almost everyone had taken their pills and instead of being wrong or smt in those clubs were no violence ever during my 'hardcore times'.. not once. This still isn’t the original original version. For some reason she doesn’t show her face anymore. I must have seen that video dozens of times and I know it’s missing a lot of scenes of her. I'm only 26, 27 this year and I've been saying this for years as well. It's a beautiful sight to behold though. Look at what we share that unfortunately they will never know. Sad, but beautiful in its own rite.
