Imagine a new version of this ride being made but as a trackless attraction. The upside down room, the growing/shrinking room, the forest, the mad tea party, the croquet game, it would all be so insane

I don't care for video screens on dark rides but those are pretty well-integrated into background of the practical effects

Given what happened in Walt Disney World's Fantasyland, I've been so relieved that they've been updating and maintaining the Fantasyland dark rides at Disneyland and they don't seem to be going anywhere (even if I didn't necessarily like them softening the scares from Snow White, the new replacement elements are at least well done.) Although I'm a bit surprised they haven't "plussed" Mr Toad or Pinocchio yet, like the others.

I'm 6'4" and I always manage to find a way to cram myself into the ride vehicle because of how much I love this ride. This is awesome!

The animatronics in this move so much more! It does look amazing!

Really feels freshened up! I still wish they’d add just something more when you first head outside on the rooftop - like, hanging lanterns a la the spinning tea cups

This is a nice ride. I did it a couple of times when I visited Disneyland. This ride does not exist in Magic Kingdom in Orlando, so it was cool to see something different.

Yay! One of the original, classic dark rides that bridges Disneyland of the past with Disneyland of the present. The one thing I noticed that has been changed for all the original dark rides is the idea of the rider being the protagonist in the story; i.e. the main protagonist was not shown in their ride. Now, we see Alice, Snow White or Peter Pan so the rider is experiencing more of a supporting player role instead of being the main character.

Those animation panels are smooth AF congratulations

I was there the day it opened back up. We were there for a week and it only opened up on our last day along with Mr. Toad. Sadly we couldn't go on Peter Pan, but knowing that ride's wait time, I know we would have been waiting there for hours lol

Happy 100th Anniversary, Disney!

I hope to ride it on august 3rd I’m so excited last time I went it really rained and they closed the ride and it never opened so I never got to ride

I'm sad because the finished refurbishment the day after I went to Disneyland

This is a great ride. Disneyland Fantasyland still has charm and rides that are beautiful. Disney World’s Fantasyland has been gutted. They took out Snow White for a meet and greet. Mickey’s Philharmagic is a once and done show. They did do a great job with the Peter Pan queue. Dumbo has been shoved off Main Street and really has lost it’s appeal of a must do attraction even though it looks beautiful. It definitely lacks in setting. Mickey’s Toon Town was wonderful. Ariel’s Adventure is a nice ride, but there is no water at all except outside the attraction in the outer queue. Water could have easily been used in the storm scene, kiss the girl scene and the final scene. The Barnstormer was cute once upon a time, but needs a little more. I still think Disney World missed the mark by not building a dark ride park with real art like this attraction instead of all plastic props like Ratatouille in EPCOT. It’s nice, but little details in art is what makes me want to ride attractions over and over. Even after all these years I still find the occasional new detail I missed in It’s a Small World.

Is it just me or does the Tulgey Wood segment seem a bit tamer?

My favorite ride has always been Alice as a child. And Winnie-the-Pooh..

What was redone? This is exactly the same as before the maintenance shutdown.

But have they turned down the volume? Family went there in 2015 and on that one ride we all had to plug our ears lol.

I really wish they'd get rid of the screens. It never looks right. Everything else looks great.

Seems Pinnocchio's the only one left with a major refurb

I miss the card guard doors at the ending section of the first part. Also why did they take out the Cheshire cat at the ending bit and put a screen if dancing tea pots? Lame.

Was the animated hologram from the original movie or animated by Eric Goldberg? I noticed the rotoscoping of Alice.

2:09 The Queen Of Hearts walk around character, is also in desperate need of a full makeover. Her proportions should be reduced to either Pluto height or better still Mouse height. Then her early 80’s head sculpt should then be reimagined to be more like this. After all, she’s a popular and regular character in all of the Disney Parks, as is very off model as a lot of the 70’s and 80’s characters were.

I like to see Disney World make a better version of this ride.

Do they have the walrus and the carpenter on the ride because both tweedles dee and dum tell Alice the story of the Walrus and the Carpenter and the Curiosity Osters .

Refurbished again?

Missing so many great characters, like the Dodo, Bill the lizard, Walrus and Carpenter, Alice's sister, Mock Turtle, the oysters and all the animals that were in the Caucus race and courtroom. If you are going to pay tribute to the classic movie of your own company's make, do it right or don't do it at all.

I swear all the Disney employees back in the days were trippin on LSD.
