The first one is also solvable by using symmetrical logic. Probably one of the only few puzzles in the series small enough and constrained correctly to use symmetrical logic.

Watching this makes me think you'll really enjoy advances sudoku challenges that have more than just the "boxes must have 1-9 lines have 1-9, more advanced sudoku that has less numbers and other systems like, custom box sizes etc. And all the essentially algorithms you have to use to solve it. The steering wheel is a really really good hard, classic sudoku puzzle. With classic rules I wouldn't recommend starting with it if you're new to sudokus though. I know its a bit random. I know this is based off of minesweeper but for some reason they way its solved feels more like Sudoku crossed with minesweeper to me. Somehow. Idk maybe I've just don't too many Sudokus and see everything like that now

it's because the cells feel more like a sudoku being around and having to do the strats instead of maybe yes no in minesweeper

@@mangouschase yeah seems to me like a minesweeper sudoku crossover turned into hexagons. I like it though I love sudoku. The harder ones are way more advanced than what people even know how to solve sudoku buy just using the numbers already in the square. Hell there's one puzzle by Christoph Seeliger which has literally no numbers in it at all.

I've seen a hexadecimal version of sodoku that goes 1-9 and then A-F lol. It's not a ton harder, but it takes a LONG time to solve. Good for airplanes.

I did some of these puzzles today! Amazed at how fast you came to the conclusion for “Big counting” (9:45). 6-3 didn’t take me TOO long, but it certainly was one of my favourites

I think there's another puzzle earlier that introduces the "big counting", maybe somewhere in world 4 from memory, so if you're reasonably fresh off that earlier puzzle it can click pretty fast.

For the first one, I think other people did this, but the bottom "corners" each have 1 within the 3 (you figured that out but ignored it) which caused the 3 inner-most yellow to be blue due to the bottom 7.

infinite story mode puzzles are crazy, some kind of guessing by assuming the typical patterns and assuming most probably blank spaces for lines and numbered hexes

i feel much better now because i downloaded this game thinking it was the same one Tyler was originally playing and he said its the hardest so i feel a bit better about taking hours to solve these puzzles hes doing in 20 minutes

Maybe you’ll like My First Level by jatloe(me!) It has 19 cells and although it is rated easy, it is around the difficulty of the first level in the video.

3:06 what implies that the top right cell of the 3 has to be blue? Am i missing something or did he just get a lucky guess?

Its the only cell a 1 is adjacent to, looks a bit weird with the highlighting but there's no cell to the left of the 1

If the top right cell of the black 3 was blue, then that would mean the cell between the top right cell and the blue 5 cell would also have to be blue(because the 3 is in {brackets} which means the blue cells have to be connected) That would fill 2 out of 5 blues for the blue 5 cell. But that only leaves 3 available blue cells, and the black 5 cell next to the blue 5 cell requires 4 blue cells next to it. This would leave the 5 blue cell overloaded(or overworked as Tyler says) with 6 blue cells in its area instead of 5.

6/3 was the WORST level for me. It took me way too long to do the counting. WAY TOO LONG.

4:49 ?!?!? Why the fuck are there two different ways that it can be solved? Look top left, there is a bottom, middle, and top tile. If the middle tile is blue it satisfies the 1blue, the 1, the {2}, and the 3. But the way Tyler solved it works too?? Huh?????

That wouldn't work. On the top right corner, you can see there are exactly two blue hexes left. If that middle hex was blue, there'd be no spot for the one left over blue hex to be located.

@@doctordynamo right, knowing that there are only two blue hexes left in the puzzle that makes sense. But I feel like there shouldn’t be problems that need that information because you could put in your answer because it does indeed make sense. But whoops you did that problem too early in the puzzle, therefore you are wrong. I think that’s stupid
