The Witness revisit when?

hey tyler, just a suggestion but I think you should play "Perspective" on steam, I saw it once when I was a little kid and only found it again about a year ago so it would be cool to see you play it because you might enjoy it.

ok ok so me fellow wisconsinite, I saw a game which looked like the kind of game you would play on this channel, it was time loader. it looked pretty cool.

Suggestion: you should check out SOLAS 128, it's also a light-based puzzle game but it's pretty different in execution and style. Pretty recently released, too.

Now play SOLAS 128 it also have some light mechanincs, like mixing and spliting colors, and also each puzzle "room" affects the next ones

Ray tracing is easy when there are less than 10 rays.

Hey, you could add lenses to the final version, sorry if you already did in these 7 months but it would be cool, then there could be a rectangle prism with curved edge for example, it would spice up the content a little. Also, circle prisms could be cool.

Ooh, different leaderboards for shortest/longest laser length and fewest reflections/refractions could be cool.

Add some prisms and mirrors embedded in the walls at confusing but ultimately necessary angles, remove the core mechanic of certain puzzles to require creative thinking, make some puzzles the require engine oversights, and flip everything left-to-right. The full master mode treatment!

been waiting for the release and Tyler to play this again but oh well. i hope he at least sticks to his promise of playing it when its fully released.

@@duncangilpatric987 i considered black as the most likely, but then i considered the dark gray background. Color blind might not be the right argument, but contrast will cause problems for even non-colorblind players. Besides, isnt black supposed to be the ABSENCE of (visible) light? now that i have mentioned visible light, i wonder about infrared and ultraviolet as options? going one step further with the idea is that the light from the types is invisible when not passing through specific areas... The intro stage would be almost entirely visible, with a small gap of normal play space between the final tool and the sensor's straight line, the second stage would probably mix both invisible light types and show what each needs to pass through to be visible.

Tyler made 41 look much easier than intended 11:16, and there are a couple solutions to 42 that I think are easier to execute. But I like when players find their own way and I was impressed with how thoughtful Tyler’s process is.

I think that's happened before, but more because the last level kicked his butt.

@@tonyparker3506 Wellllll it wasn’t totally wrong. If you’re interested, look into additive vs subtractive colour theory - subtractive mixing (eg mixing paints) makes purple, whereas additive mixing (eg mixing colored light) makes magenta.

Studied some law for the past 2 years, and just had 2 driving on suspended tickets dismissed last month. I can prove 100% that a license isn't needed for non-commerce use. Presently studying the rules of civil procedures for an excessive bail lawsuit I need to file. I was jailed a week with $10,000 bail for driving on suspended, $10,000 expired tags, $10,000 no insurance, $10,000 Improper display of tags(I made a placard, non commercial), and $10,000 resisting arrest. As you can see, 3 of those are fines only and can't require bail. Now that all are dismissed, lawsuit time. Take care. :)

Learning the way light works in this game is a lot like learning a language. Do you have to critically think about every word you say in a sentence? It's more about learning and applying rules than traditional puzzle solving, and it only looks like I'm doing brute force if you don't understand what's going on.

Tweaking? Yes. Brute force? Not so much. If he was actually brute forcing it, these levels would take _much_ longer to solve.

He played it, I'm not sure if he finished it. I think part of his playthrough might be on his archive channel.

He doesn't really like sandbox games, he doesn't like that there's no goal after a while
