Alive Outside - How did the second squirrel do?
@YouTobeHD15 жыл бұрын
I did not understand this second. I had only one squirrel in 1985. My grandfather bought her from a man in the village. She was small, she had hair. We fed it with milk on a bottle with a baby silicone nipple. I've let her out many times in front of the house, he climbing on the trees but he always back in the house. Each morning squirrel is awakened us by licking our lips or nose asking from us to stand up to feed her. She lived with us about 6 months. When she grew up and felt the need to start her life, one morning she gone in the nature and did not return. Beautiful memories.

I question the intelligence of people who think rescuing grey squirrels is a good idea. Why don't you rescue some species whose numbers are in great decline like possums or raccoons or skunks etc etc etc. There are an estimated 2 billion grey squirrels in North America now, genius. @LAFOLLETTER Nice share, thanks. I too found a baby squirrel 3 years ago. My wife and I bottle fed it and it too grew fast....and active. She would wrestle with my hand too, you could feel her razor sharp teeth but she never bit anyone. She was so sweet and careful and fun. We took her outaide everyday and eventually moved her cage outdoors. She doesnt live out of her cage any more but she still comes by almost daily for almonds and nuts. She is more skittish than she used to be, but will often sit on my knee while I feed her a half an almond at a time. Cutest things, but too busy to live in a house. Especially with a wife who has a delicate orchid collection.

I found a squirrel one time about 15 years ago that was a pinky in the middle of road almost hit it, but stopped my truck and made traffic stop because I seen it move. Everyone said he would not make it because he was a new born. Fed him cow colostrum mixed in esbalac puppy formula and he did great. SIx months forward I tried to transition him to my river property and he was terrified and wanted nothing to do with it. So I let him decide when he wanted to go. He ended up staying with me almost a year and a half before he let me know he was ready to go. He did very well out there and would visit me everytime I came to the property. Then I stopped seeing him after about nine years from his release so I guess he died of old age. I think he lived a good life and made lot's of baby squirrels out there.

My student found tiny, still blind squirrels in the park. One was sick from the beginning and did not walk. After a while, he died. The second has grown into a beautiful squirrel. He was everywhere with me, I live in a two-room flat and I gave one room to a squirrel. I didn't have the heart to put her in a cage. I took her to the garden, but he had the best fun jumping on the pendulum off the clock or sliding down the stair railing. He was with me for a year and a half. He was always waiting for me. When I came at night, he would wake up and jump on the door handle from his room. I had to come to him, hug his face, and then he went to sleep. I have a TV in his room, when I turned on and sat in the armchair or on the couch, the squirrel would come to me and twist around my neck and sleep. He never bit me. I went on a trip to Greece for 10 days. My student who looked after the pets was constantly coming to him. On day 4 the squirrel was dead. I do not understand why? He was an example of health, I asked the vet if it was possible that he would die of longing? He said no. I have never been so closely associated with any animal as with my squirrel.

Hey man you are a true man! It looks like God made you a good Dad plus you take care of abandoned animals. The world needs more people like you

Animals aren’t ungrateful as human beings, when you take care of them they will love and appreciate you, also they won’t betray you

Not so, as much as I love cats, they’re assholes. They’ll move into someone else’s home if the food’s better.

So nice guys, I know how it feels to have a squirrel. We are in India n 5 yrs back we found a month old abandoned baby palm squirrel. We fell in love with her n couldn't let go of her. She sleeps with my kids n behaves as if she owns our house. She is going strong n we adore her.she has built a nest in our kitchen n gets the choicest food. Sometimes my kids tell me that I have spoilt him. He is an angel, feel so calm n nice just looking at him.

We have four little red squirrels and as long as they are in the "globe" feeders, I can walk up to them, but rarely will they take food out of my hand. Excellent video. God bless you for taking care of His creatures.

Best bit is the confusion on the one guys face whilst the other is randomly talking about a balloon that flew away 🎈😂
