Every time he touches the ball I feel like I'm about to watch something on a highlight reel. Anything could happen. I don't mean this video, obviously this IS a highlight reel, I just mean, in any game, a Jokic touch is potential magic. You could make a highlight reel of a single Jokic game that would be better than a multi year reel from many others...

As a kid I watched Chamberlain & Hal Greer, Russell & Havlicek, Oscar, Earl the Pearl & Kareem. My favorite was Maravich. Now been watching Joker for 4 years & he takes my breath away 4-5 times per game.

@@truthhurts837 in TPA (total points added) throughout the entire playoffs, KD was top 10, and booker was top 2, only behind Jokic himself Ayton was bottom 5, among the worst, finding himself next to Dillon mf Brooks and Jordan Poole. This means he had negative TPA in both offensive and defensive metrics KD and Book throughout the playoffs were good. Booker especially had an amazing postseason, but simply fell to the better overall team

I mean Jokic no doubt is excellent, but man, gotta credit Murray here too. His threat as a shooter and playmaking just enables Jokic to be that much better. Plus Gordan being so getting open and being so reliable as a guy to pass to helps out a ton too. No discredit at all to Jokic, but the guys around him definitely compliment his skills.

What's more scary about Nikola Jokic is that he has no weakness in offense. As he played and shot so simple, he always finds a way to send a ball into the rim with many screens, schemes and strategies. Many frustrated superstars and blank-minded coaches had a hard time to stop him but they do respect him so much with their own hearts. Patience, simplicity and self control are his powerful weapons.

I love Jokic, there is nothing negative to be said about him.........but lets keep in mind that both points and assists are a bit easier to stack up in the era of "all rules must help the offense" that the NBA is currently in. Just something to remember before all the "its the greatest in history" comments which are inevitable in the internet age. Everyone thinks the latest thing is the greatest in history, or the worst in history. He's the best current player and best big of this era.

I always considered Larry Bird as the best I ever saw, but Nicola Jokic has already taken that title. He controls the entire game and defenses are left scratching their heads. How can they even pay him enough, he is bringing back fans like me who gave up watching the NBA 20 years ago.
