I actually like the pole fatality in MKX. It's simple but clean and straight to the point

I get a totally different feel and vibe from the fatality where he kills himself along side his opponent. To me I see him channeling so much electricity and totally throwing his own life away to show just how much his bloodlust has grown and how much he truly wants to kill his opponent

Raiden's Uppercut fatality in MK2 will always be my favorite. It's so simple but damn it shows the power of a Thunder God, especially with the boom sfx that fills the lack of screaming or effort.

I think it's pretty interesting how his electrocution finish in MK2 is the only fatality I can think of that has a "fail" state. If you don't jam the button to cause the explosion it won't happen, but still counts a a fatality.

The samurai costume raiden had in DA is pretty cool I wish they would have brought it back

I love seeing the differences on people’s favorite fatalities and my own, my personal favorite Raiden Fatality is Transplant from MK9.

"Johnny start the car!" LMAO! I forgot about that ending and always loved when Raiden shouted that gibberish when he shoved someone. To be honest, that was the best thing about the video cause I always felt Raiden has had weak fatalities just like Kano.

100% agree with your Number 1 pick, im generally not a fan of Raiden's fatalities as a whole but that particular one is an absolute standout among the series. Also I am so glad Shang Tsung is next, he has some absolutely fantastic options

Honestly, number 11 had a reason to be THAT long because ya gotta cook the body just right until every single cell gets fried and the body both becomes black from the amount of extremely hot energy put into it and overloads with energy causing it to explode, making it a bit logical to make the fatality THAT long

I'd have definitely chosen Raiden's MK2 uppercut for number 1. It's really the incredible sound design that makes it so good. First the thunderclap as he throws the punch, then the bones all hitting the floor, Raiden's electricity summon sound, then finally the head splatting on the ground. Pure perfection, I just wish it was easier to pull off as holding high punch during the fight is pretty distracting.

When I first saw Raidens fatality, I was Shocked!

I always thought that the MK4 fatality was supposed to look like he casts a lightning to the sky, then he picks up the opponent and the lightning fall on his back, huh

I’m also not a big fan on self destruct fatalities but it works for raiden, using so much power it destroys his human form but regains it by the next fight. Really emphasizes the fact he’s immortal.

Dude watching some of the old gameplay is sick like the multiple fighting styles like jujitsu and staff for raiden and then the quick time events in mk vs dc some of that stuff is pretty cool

I personally did like the SNES version of Raiden ‘s fatality. Shocking his opponent and turning their skeleton into dust.

I agree with you on everything especially on the 3 worst and 3 best Raiden fatalities,the Thunder God was always one of yhe most important things in the franchise that removing him could potentially ruin the franchise much more than Scorpion and Sub-Zero,being a mentor to Liu Kang and Kung Lao fits perfectly and I love that he treats them like his sons as a father figure and being a protector of Earthrealms because he cares the mortals the most is s brilliant concept,hell I always consider and believe that one of the things that makes him relatable is that he's a God with flaws who can make mistakes which is a good idea since other than Raiden and Fujin all of the Gods in the franchise are horrendous creatures,all in all I love the character in many way,shape,and form and I hope and pray that in future games those electric blades become a permanent moveset(although I was suprised that you didn't show the MK 1995 version of the character,but in all honesty I never have or will like that version for alot of reasons)and that his fatalities improves over time to be extremely shocking,as for the next video even though he's not my favorite villain of the franchise(that title for me at least belongs to the Fallen Elder God,the Necromancer Sorcerer,and the Crimson Cyborg)Shang Tsung is one of the franchise most iconic villains that it's a good idea to be the next one and I will wait but I wonder what soul stealing trick are you going to put on the ranked video,only time will tell.

Another amazing video as always, I do enjoy going back down memory lane and revisiting all of these great fatalities, I just wish I can see more of these fatalities when PLAYERS ARE IN TOURNAMENTS FROM TIME TO TIME but that's just me. Anyways personally I do enjoy the later Mortal Kombat games fatalities with Raiden more specifically his lightning rod fatality, I agree it should have the opponent been burn to a crisp when hit with that lightning bolt but it was still good in my opinion.

Oh man, how these videos are cool - especially this one. I was way happy to see the good old MK1 fatality ranked quite high. Sucha classic! ...Oh man! Those were the days, when MK1 came out... The MK game serie has seemingly gone a long way since. I remember playing from MK1 up to MK3 on PC back in the days. At some point I got to test out the MKvsDC game on some console - which kinda sucked at the end of the day...🤣🤣

The only self destruct fatalities I do like is Cyber Smokes Armageddon, and Cyrax's Oblivion. On a side note, the self-destruction move I hate the most is King of Fighters Foxy's (Honeybee Suicide Attack) I think the creators were on dope when they came up with that idea.
