I honestly like Frost as a cyborg, because not only does she feel like a female Sub Zero, but also her own character with her own Kombat abilities. Cyber Sub Zero is cool (no pun intended), but Cyber Frost brought both cryomancy and technology in a new level.

i never liked frost, cyborg or not, she may be similar to sub zero but she is far from the same personality of him, she is arrogant and just overall awful (please don’t take offense to this is my opinion)

Good list, but one thing I wanted to mention here that you didn't in Sektor and Cyrax's solo videos, as well as this one (even if this was just on the cybers altogether) was the subtle shift in Cyrax and Sektor's MK9 fatals when you use their human forms. Sure it's minor stuff like Cyrax grabbing one of the orbs on his belt instead of wrist programming, but I do like when games do details like that for skin changes. And I'm still gonna say you should do a ranking based just on MK vs DC. Either all finishers there or just the DC Characters.

9:00 Fun Fact this Fatality was so Good that I went to One of Frost Movesets in MK11,then Again Frost is a Much Better Cyber Sub-Zero in My Opinion.

I never understood the World Destruction fatalities. Why would they pack a cyborg with enough explosives to destroy the whole world to begin with? Enough to destroy the surrounding area, maybe more plausible, but the whole world? Kind of sounds like a liability.

Personally, Cyber Initiative is easily the best fatality on this list imo. The narrative aside, the implications of the fighter losing their will to her. Especially if this were to be done to certain characters. Can't say this about alot of Fatalities.

I'm surprised that World Destruction got ranked so high, i thought Smoke was going to be eliminated pretty soon lmao Anyways, nice work! And i agree with the first place, that fatality is just... man, the way they kill the guy with their unique moves is just awesome

I think Death Machine is my favorite. I enjoy the gory fatalities, and the creative ones at that, so I loved this one

fr, i also love the other where they cut his/her throat, something else that i forgot, then the do a epic uppercut through the sack and where one of them grabs there head while the other 2 has the left and right side of the body

I love cyborgs and this ranking. Great video. Honestly, it would've been interesting to see Kuai Liang's journey as Cyber Sub-zero in later games.

I agree. It was a cheap cop out to make Sub Zero a cyborg instead of Smoke, only to have him as a human again in the games after MK9 like it never happened. I don't even know how he got turned back, but at the same time I'm not surprised cause they would never keep their precious Sub Zero as a Cyborg indefinitely like the others lol.

@@bsbgirl85 In the comics Quan Chi, to make him his servant, ripped every metal from his body leaving his flesh only. Then he restored him as Revenant, but later thanks to Raiden, he was brought back again as human. To be honest, I would prefer Cyber Sub-zero over Frost any day, because not only is she annoying and pointless character who takes the slot on the roster, but also her motivation seems so contrived and forced, like, when did she even meet Kronika 🤔?

Thanks for answering, they should of explained that in MKX cause I've always been confused why he's suddenly human again. I just think it would of been interesting to see what more they would do with Cyber Sub Zero. I'm in the minority, but I always liked Frost lol. Don't care for her being a cyborg though. I wish she didn't get so much hate.

Sadly, I kinda predicted that he won't stick at being cyborg longer, because, like you said, they wouldn't dare to change one of their iconic characters just like that. About Frost in MK11, they could've made her original character, which they did pretty well with Superman and Supergirl in Injustice 2, but NRS had different plans for her .......

Yeah, it's a duh moment for me. At the time, I didn't get why they did all that just to make him human again. It was recently when I realized they wouldn't have their most popular and original character permanently stay a cyborg. Hindsight is 20/20. I'm sure I'm the only idiot that didn't realize that at the time lol, but I wasn't really thinking about it and THEY are the people that wrote that into the story. So I guess at the time I just thought they were going in that direction for the new timeline lol.

You should rank the Hara-Kiri fatalities from deception or the friendsships from triology/11 comparisons, kinda for laughs and curiosity. That would be interesting. Also Jade, Sindel or Nightwolfs too

As far as the cyber sub zero self destruct fatality, in some circles a suicide death that takes out an enemy is considered an Honorable death. Love your vids BTW 😁👍

Another excellent video! Thank you so much for putting this list together! Honestly these are all some of my favorite characters (minus Cyber Sub, whose placements on this list I completely agree with) so I'll be rewatching a bunch. :-) Really makes me wish they'd give us Sek and Cy for MK11.

I really appreciate all of the work you put into these videos. I do have one comment/critique I'd like to share from a viewer's perspective. The sound difference between your voice and some of the fatalities (especially from the older games) is pretty drastic and with headphones I thought I was going to explode with some of the fatality sound effects. Not sure if you can control that or anything but I just thought I'd share. thanks for your time

I generally agree with this list except: 1. Brain freeze has to be one of the worst fatalities in mk period. 2. The triborg compactor was my favorite cyber fatality. 3. Frosts cyber initiative could have been better if the cyborg was different for each character( ex: d’vorah get cyber pincers and Baraka gets cyber blades/maybe teeth)

I remember back in 7th grade, I disabled to web filter on my school chromebook and was playing Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy (Umk3 rom hack) on browser based Sega Genisis emulator. I had just won a match as sektor and at the EXACT moment when I did the compactor fatality, the principal just happened to walk by and see it! I was in so much trouble that day lmao. I got my chromebook taken from me for a long time. Good times...

This was the video I originally thought we would get before we got separate Cyrax and Sektor lists lol. Wow, I never really minded Smoke's grenade fatality, so I'm a little surprised to see it as the worst on this list. I think Sektor's compactor fatality in MK4 is the worst, it looks like crap. I always liked Frost in DA, I personally wished she stayed that way cause Frost being a Cyborg is so bizarre to me. I understand wanting to make her more than a female Sub Zero, but it's still a ridiculous turn for her character IMO. Putting that aside, she has great fatalities. I forgot how good her second fatality is when she puts the ice bomb in the opponent and their frozen when they explode. That was very creative. I'm a little surprised Smoke's world bomb fatality is so high. I have mixed feelings on it, it's a cool idea but I find it OTT lol. I guess I can understand Teamwork being #1. Great list, really enjoyed it.

Thank you for the comment! I really had debated for some time how to execute this set of videos. I really wanted to give each character their time to shine, but if I did that in one big video, I was afraid it would be too long. I also wanted each video to highlight each character. I originally planned to do just the main 3, then realized I should include Frost, Sub-Zero and Triborg, but could go more in-depth there. Overall, I’m happy you liked the episode. It was a long time coming and I hope you’re excited for more characters from the 3D era to make their appearance.

I can see Why this Video was Hard to Make,It Didn't Show You Any Mercy,but it was Worth It,you Did A Fantastic Job with One of my Highly Recommend Videos to this Channel Nick that was Justice Build Perfectly Piece by Piece,I Love all of the 3 Finishes Each from Sektor and Cyrax, but Scarecrow and Nothing but Net are My Favorites from Ketchup and Mustard,My Favorite from Cyber Smoke or Pepper is the One from Deception,the Ninjas Stars from Cyber Sub-Zero as I Call Him Ice Cream,I Love Both Fatalities to Cyber Frost(Although I'm in a Debate if I Should Call Her Salt of Mayo with Hydro Involved),and while I Love the Weird Compactor from Triborg,Out of All of Them,Teamwork is My Favorite One of All the Cyber Ninjas and Sektor doing a Cybernetic Evil Laugh show how Badass,Cold,and Diabolical the Cyber Lin Kuei Truly Is,I'm Looking Forward to the Next One but in the Meantime I'm Taking Advice from Food Battle and Watching a Burning House Down,You Know What They Say,When there's Smoke,There's Fire.

Even in the robot rankings, Cyber Sub-Zero is still the fatality punching bag. For someone that was forced to become cyber, I can’t help but feel sorry for him for getting the short end of the stick lol.

Frost’s fatalities feels like they were made for Sektor but they added ice to it and called it a day. The one with the ice detonate thing is literally just an ice version of his scarecrow and the cyberization thing is his thing. He’s the one that’s obsessed with it. It’s weird they gave it to Frost. Triborg’s fatality where it turns into that weird machine is dumb but I think it’s supposed to be silly? It has Smoke’s harpoon, Cyrax’s saw, and Sektor’s compactor crusher thing. Then they come out as a cube. It’s other one is just a excessive. They cut the throat…dead. Then they take out the heart….double dead. Then plot the victim in half…triple dead. Both of Cyber Sub-Zero’s aren’t that great. I guess I like the one where he takes himself out better. Smoke’s fatalities have been lack luster. His bomb in the mouth one is dumb. I hate the blow up the entire world thing is dumb. Like twelve bombs blows up the world😂. Hate it as Cyrax, hate it as Smoke. His other one is alright where he turns invisible. I think that might be the first time he uses his powers in for a finisher at least as a cyber. Maybe as a human he does something like teleport idk. It’s not much but he does something.

I would swap the 2 Triborg fatalities, mainly because in the one you gave number 1, Smoke gets covered up by the word "fatality", which is just disrespectful to the best cyber ninja.

The only thing i didn't like about cyrax's nothing but net fatality is that it just chops off the arms and only dices the body and head into 6 pieces, would have been cool if the net was more sharp in lethality like the laser net death trap in the decent resident evil movie and diced the enemy into little pieces

For number 13 they should have had him reappear at grabbing the head and after he reappears fully then he rips the head off.

Cyber Subs fatality was a self destruct? I could have sworn he just did a super teleport taking the top half of the opponent with him somewhere else….
