We could also add She lost in the final of WTA Finals 2016 (to Cibulkova) and final of Olympic Games 2016 (to Puig). she's kind of an overachiever IMO.. not in a bad way, I mean she was able to take the chance everytime she was in the final of Grand Slam (except Wimbledon 2016). hard to believe she has more slam than the likes of Azarenka, Halep, Li Na, or Kvitova.

Hard to believe she's a 3 time GS champ yet never won WTA1000 title. Both Cincy finals were sad as she beat prime Serena in straight sets (2012) and was the most stable player since Wimbledon (2016). Could add WTA Finals Final as a pity for her as she was dominant over top ranked players through out the tournament, except for the Finals.

Her 2016 was equally incredible as it was surprising. I couldn’t believe how dominant she became that year. When she’s on, her defence is some of the greatest. Her Wimbledon win was so strong. She painted those lines. I wanted Serena to win but there was no stopping her

Sabine, can you please make a video of the most underrated player right now going god mode? She is considered old, but in the last two years she beat Sabalenka,Rybakina,Voundrosova , almost Swiatek and other top players. I am talking about Sorana Cîrstea who made an incredible performance in the last tournaments. I think she deserves more respect.

I would love to see Kerber win an M1000. I don’t think it will happen at this point. It’s amazing she doesn’t have this, a WTA Final, and choked the Gold Medal. Kerber is an enigma.

As a HUGE Angie fan i kinda get it. Cuz i always comment about this fact every time i see a post or a stat about 1000 titles, or when there is a new champ. Never would you imagine she skip this category to go straight to GS level titles and probably gonna end her career like that. What make her achievements even more ICONIC... The lost finals in Rio and YEC belong here too. LOL Hope she gets a good run in some tourneys before she says Goodbye... Im really gonna miss Her 😢

Unpopular opinion: I dont like Kerber, at all. I dont like pushers in general, and her game is unattractive to me. So this video is very satisfying for me. Sorry not sorry 😂😂😂

I get it that you don’t like her game but I don’t think we can call her a pusher. She is not like Wozniacki after all. She is more like a counterpuncher, using her opponent power against her to make very beautiful winners.

The real WTA-1000 are Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid and Beijing and only them, the rest are not 1000.

Still counted as WTA 1000 based on WTA revamp since 2021. Prior to this, IW, Miami, Madrid and Beijing are WTA Premier Mandatory, Qatar/Dubai, Rome, Toronto, Cincy, Wuhan are Premier 5

Pliskova would easily trade this Cincy 1000 for the US Open Final loss she'd face in the coming weeks, her last best chance to win a major. I don't think the trophy ceremony comment was meant to be hurtful, but the look on Angie's face said it all, and I'm sure it was added motivation when she beat Pliskova. As for the five losses, come on: most players don't get to even one 1000 final, let alone five. LET ALONE WIN!. A remarkable achievement, a remarkable player, considering she doesn't have much of a serve. Kind of a lefty Halep in her prime, retrieving everything. Imagine Sabalenka or Rybakina winning anything without their serve and power. Any player, any era, would take those three slam wins and five 1000 defeats any day of the week.
