I think you have some misinformation, drishti 10 is based on Israel's Hermes 900 starliner drones, it's a collaboration with Israel.

Sadly our own drdo's made in India drone didn't get this much attention and some of the projects are going to get Stop funding. People always think foreign objects are superior when our own homemade objects are inferior. If you don't support and praise their efforts they'll never grow even in the long term they will lose their morale. Then we have to always purchase things from other countries ,we can never make those things ourselves .

Indian military needs to hire a proper spoke person to deal with media to convey clear information. None of the military chiefs can speak English properly. By the way this drones are assembled in India and nothing wrong with it. It is just a beginning that private companies are taking over the defense manufacturing. The DRDO was created by the government which has become the retirement home for the Babus and glad that PM Modi is not a big fan of it.

This is Israeli Hermes 900 UAV . Basically Adani is purchasing knocked down kits of Hermes from Israel & reassembling them in India & selling it to Navy & making a neat margin for doing nothing but screwdriver works. All this was done after scrapping the DRDO Rustam project by Modi govt. . So "Atmanirbhar" my foot !!

Laugh as you can but this is the only guy who is creating a private aerospace ecosystem in India Useless PSU has done nothing but delays.... Tejas mk2 got delayed by 3-4 years which was supposed to fly this year Tapas was a failure and crashed about 2-3 times during development Aur koi raasta hai armed forces ke liye ???
