Hi, thank you for this video. However I have a question. My husband has previously filed an I 864 as a joint sponsor for his aunt but her I 485 hasn't been approved yet. He wants to file an I 864 for me now, do we include her in our household size? And is there any part of the form we include her in? Thanks in advance.

Awesome information provided clearly. However, I have a different case. I have an approved I-140 NIW EB2 petition. Now I need to submit documents to NVC after their welcome letter. Do I need to submit I-864/A/EZ. There was no affidavit of support fee asked by NVC on the CEAC website. Help will be appreciated.

Hi ! I hope you are able to answer this question for me :) your videos are very helpful. I'm very confused with Part 4 of i-864EZ where it states: Add together Item Numbers 1.a-1.e and enter the number here. "This is your HOUSEHOLD SIZE for the purpose of this Form I-864EZ." .. If i add together my number would be 3 because on question 1.e if I have any dependents listed on my most recent Federal income tax, I enter 1 because i have my little sister who is here in the states and i have her as a dependent. Am i able to enter 3 for this form? Thank you !

From my understanding, for part 3 I entered yes then indicated the child under family member. So the total people im sponsoring is two, correct? Or do I also need to check part 3 number 2 as well?

Когда мой муж будет заполнять аффидавит I-864 на свою маму, нужно ли ему вписывать куда-либо информацию о том, что он учавствует в спонсировании моей мамы с формой I-864A? Надо ли мою маму учитывать в Household size или в Part 3 в аффидавите мужа на его маму, если моя мама все еще в процессе получения иммиграционной визы и не имеет Green card?

Again amazing stuff! For Part 3 question 1. I am the main petitioner and sponsor. I do have enough income to support my brother (intended immigrant) but not his now wife and 4 children. Do I select Yes for P3Q1? I will have only one joint sponsor outside of the household. Do they also have to select Yes on P3Q1? Or can they select No and the select Yes for P3Q2? Thank you

Hi Kseniya, why do you think is the intending immigrant who is not the spouse nor lives in the USA being asked to furnish 1864a for the beneficiary. In this case what does one fill in part 2 section 1. Neither a b or c is applicable to this primary applicant/ beneficiary. Thank you for your help.

Hello Kseniya, my mother-in-law (green card holder - petitioner) petition her husband and younger daughter (minor at that time) way back 2016. Her eldest daughter (which is my wife) filed I-864A as a joint sponsor because my mother-in-law income is not enough. Now, her husband and daughter has a upcoming interview this coming Dec 6, 2023 and i just found out in the CEAC website that we need to upload a new form I-864EZ before the interview. So what is going to happen to her original I-864 form if she submit the I-864EZ? Please respond, i would highly appreciate it.

About form I-864 question Part 3, question number 1 in my own case I'm filing a I-130 for my spouse and she's coming with my baby, should I then as the Petitioner sponsoring both the principal immigrant and one family member check YES in box 1, and also check box 2? Hello, hOpe your okay. i need your opinion in filling out the i1864 form. My husband is a military, and his total income for 2021 based on 1040 is 18,003. Based on the latest poverty guidelines military should have $18300+, however this year my husband has additional allowance, my question is.. 1. does 2021 total income affect our application since it is below the poverty guidelines (latest)? 2. In calculating the income this year, Can i just multiply my husband’s monthly income into 12 (months) to get the estimated income for this year? 3. His paystub was just updated this february, do we need to wait for his paycheck this march? Thank you in advance.

on Form I-864, I have a question on Part 6 Question number 7, My current individual annual income is not up to the required 125% Poverty level guideline requirement, can I add the amount in my bank account to my annual income to meet up the requirement as long as I can prove it through my bank account statement when the time comes? For example for 3 people I'm expected to currently make $27,450 but I made $13,377 but i have $15,000 cash to meet up, would this work according to the question in Part 6 question number 20, and part 7 question number 1-4 ?

The total amount of house hold size is automatically 1 in the form, I can't delete it to add more people, I can just add a number but than if its 2 of us, it turns to number 21 or 12... How can I fix it ?It comes with the number 1 from the official page of USCIS

I have question! I got salty as well, like you said I used I-864 instead use I-864EZ because my Spouse is the only sponsor and we getting married and life in the same household USCIS send a notification to me (request for evidence) because I-864 was not match 125% etc Can I use I-864EZ to write them back? with attached tax report, W2 and proof of citizenship Thank you

My immigration NVC document got to the stage of approval, Eveything was approved but on the I-864 form was rejected. It says we were suppose to fill 12pages of paper, but they on have 10pages on there. This is so draining and confusing. And does it matter if the one I found carries a old expiring date? Talking about the I-864 document, will it not lead to denial?

Right now I am the petitioner for my French wife, we both have been living in France for a year and a half and are currently living in France, but we intend to move to the US when my wife gets her green card. I am currently using my mom’s address for my bank and credit card information. I am filling out the I-864 and I am wondering if I should write my mom’s address in the US for mailing and my spouse’ parents address in France for the physical address? Is it confusing? Do you have any advice? Thank you so much
