I need to repot my pilea plant too. I got a pot out the other day but it was right after I watered it and the drip tray is full. So I’ll wait until it’s dry. The water runs straight through. I can’t wait. Yours is beautiful.

@plantsbymelissa ⁠ I just got my second one (the first one died) about 4-6 months ago. I had it outside on my porch that gets all west light, it was doing great. I had to bring it in due to the cold weather. It’s under grow lights now but is not happy. And that’s the only light it gets. Dropping leaves like crazy, turning yellow. I can move it to a west window if it needs it. The soil was rock hard. I just repotted it in fresh soil but I hope I didn’t mess up its roots bc I had to bang the heck out of it to get that hard soil off. The soil I used was ocean forest by happy frog, but I added a little more perlite to it. I’m so worried now that I messed up it’s roots and now it’ll die.

hi, my question to you is, what if one side of my piela has lost its steams . do I chop it, or should I add some keiki paste to the empty spots. Kkeki paste is some paste that others say help produce new growth??? thanks for any info.you could give me😊

I have 4 pilea peperomiodes plants, and none of them is as tall or as bushy as yours LOL. Nevertheless I still adore them, even though keeping them healthy and beautiful can be challenging. Thank you for showing off your handsome pilea and sharing care tips. 🙏👍❤️

Once leaves have fallen off, can new leaves grow from bottom of stem? My pilea is thriving on the top third of the long stem. The rest is bare.

Thank you! I don’t use it anymore but I swore by it back in the day lol it really helped me keep track of them all. It’s called Planta and I just used the free version.

My pileas all lean super far and are kinda droopy. I water weekly and have in a south window. Is there anything else I can do?

Try turning the pot a bit every day and also maybe add a support stake

I edit in Final Cut Pro and I also pay for canva pro and I make my thumbnails on there as well as some other things like my intro and end cards :)

I've noticed that they really start growing after being repotted into a bigger pot. So if you haven't tried that yet, it's worth a try.

Some say turn it up some say turn it down so I try to add music in certain spots where I speed things up. It will never be right for everyone :)

Why do all you youtube plant folks call your plants "she and her?" Its just weird. Plants dont have genders. 😂

A lot of flowering plants have female and male structures 😅 It's better than calling the plant an "it" or by their scientific name all the time.
