Cordless angle grinders with a load of power: The new Bosch Professional GWS and GWX models also provide the power to meet all challenges in heavy-duty applications. Thanks to BITURBO Brushless Technology, the new tools are not only more powerful but also more robust and reliable. In our overview video on the new BITURBO Brushless variants of our angle grinder, we also describe the different models and their most important features.

Just venturing out into the world of angle grinders and I have had a rather difficult time trying to figure out what the difference is between models, what the various suffixes mean and why some are more expensive than others. This video has done an EXCELLENT job of explaining the differences. Thank you!

Angle grinders have a major design flaw, the spindle lock. I'm going through my periodical changeover from a sanding disc to a cutting disc on my Bosch grinder & trying to keep your finger pressed on the spindle lock, while trying to find superhuman strength to unscrew the disc is almost impossible! The Bosch X-lock is a great new design that someone should have come up with years ago, problem is once you have an x-lock grinder you then have to use all Bosch attachments & discs.

I purchased the Bosch GWS8-45 grinder and it says in the manual, that it’s not meant for cutting. Is this true? I thought all angle grinders do cutting with a cutting wheel.
