Many thanks Sam and Angela for, unknowingly solving a problem for me. I have to replace my brass door knocker but the bolts that came with the new one are far to long. So it has been sitting in its box whilst I have been trying to work out how to cut them down. You have shown me the simplest way with out hacksaws, electric saws etc. 👏👏👏👏 Now I can put up the knocker and will no longer have people pummelling my poor front door. 👏👏👏😊😊😊😊

Deck is a floor. Porch is a covered deck. Both together are nice. You can sit in sun on the deck and move to the porch when you want shade. Cool lighting!

Awesome job! If I may offer advice - if you swivel the outer lights in opposite directions from where they are currently pointing, you will get less of a shadow in the closet and a wider beam into the area you are lighting up.

Both of you have been doing beautiful work on your home. It's so satisfying when you are doing it yourselves. You know things are getting done the way you want it. I love the lighting you put in the pendent light globe you picked Angela will give out better light than the one that it came with. The difference between a porch and a deck is a deck is not covered and a porch is. I said on one of your earlier video's we hired a guy to build us a front and back porch on our 1988 mobile home and I'm am so pleased with how he is building it. I told him what I wanted and he has excited my expectations. He has used 6×6 post instead of the usual 4×4 post. I wanted the farm house style so I've went with the galvanized wire instead of the spindles on the hand rails. The top caps around it is wide enough to put flower pots on them. He ordered my tin roofing today. It's took seven years to get here and I'm excited like you two are. 😊 Love your bloopers!

We have two fans with remotes. i attached a lanyard to one remote and hung it on a wall. I did this because we were always hunting a remote for the fans. I am thankful that one remote works for both fans.

Oh my goodness Sam and Angela this is really coming along great, I love those light fixtures, and when you installed the track lighting and then turned each one the directions you did, I knew exactly why you did that, one for the pantry, one for the entryway door, and the last one for where the washer/dryer combo is going to be, I think that was the perfect idea. Thanks once again for another wonderful video, and I am really looking forward to your next one, sending love and hugs, bye for now. 🤣🥰🤗💜

The HVAC company I used said the mini splits were more expensive than a heat pump & furnace in which I got for $10,000. My next place will have solar & mini splits 😀

Really like the antique bronze finishes. Also, the track lighting is an excellent choice for the pantry, entry way, laundry room area. Your home is so darn cozy now, can't hardly wait for the move in video ✨️ 💛

I was a little confused about Same putting up the lights and fans at first cause I didn't want him to chip a pretty finger nail with that nice polish cause guys aren't as careful as gals but of course Angela was doing that so no worry. Lol....I love your fan and lights. I would not have been able to just pop up electric stuff. I can try chicken and make fudge but electric I'm afraid of. Great job both of you. And had big old porches. Loved having a swing on the porch where me and my siblings spent a lot of time. I really believe you are going to enjoy your home so much. I love everything you have done. Originally from the south, I say front, back, side porch (whatever material or form). My hubby, being from mid-west, says back deck and front step. I like the above kitchen sink light. One of those would work nicely in your front door area too (instead of the fixture flat on the ceiling). I wish I was as confident as Angela, getting in there and accomplishing what she does...and with polished nails!

We used our fans only when we are at home, because a fan doesn't change the temperature in the room it just makes you fell like its cooler😉

Things are moving quickly now! Yay! 👏👏👏 Everything looks great! What a huge difference from where you started! I am curious Are you planning to install closet organization in your bedroom closet? I had installed some in one of my previous homes, and loved it, because I was able to add drawers, and shelving to fit what I had, so I didn't need so much furniture in small rooms. It saved a lot of floor space. You may not need it. I might have just had more stuff/junk. Lol!

And for functionality and to add character to your junction box cover plate paint it your preferred color & drill a pilot hole then screw in an Eye hook then hang grandmother’s vintage three tiered wire fruit and vegetable baskets for all your fresh produce!! ~HOME & GARDEN MAGAZINE 2022~

Our living room fan runs on medium 24/7 . It's basically just for air movement due to the way out air vents are placed. OMG guys! How exciting to be so close to getting in!

Love your lighting and fan choices. They really modernize your home. The globe solution over the kitchen sink is quite nice. 👍 I'm with you, I didn't know that type of "spin" light existed. 😮 PLEASE tell me that you WILL do the small ceiling patches needed around the light junction box in the utility room. If not, as my grandmother would say, "I'll box your ears!" 😉

Get a round plate cover cut a hole in the middle for your track light. You also get a light extension so you have a light over washer & dryer.
