You should do a segment with Nordic vs. Latin American girls. It's like matter and antimatter colliding; the universe might annihilate itself if you put them all together. Or, it might restore the balance to everything, like the Force. 50/50. Example of a question: "How much do you guys value personal space?"

«Cuate» no es un término viejo, es un término que coloquialmente se usa para «amigo» (el cuál sí está en desuso), pero en realidad significa «mellizo», su etimología se remonta al náhuatl «coatl» (cuyo significado es el mismo), se usa aún para personas que tienen mellizos o gemelos.

Actually there is no such thing as big size coffee in Brazil, we drink it in small cups because its 'strong', we use less water than an american would use, its hard to translate that sentence because of the cultural difference. Mostly you would ask for the coffee and they would ask you "1$ ou 2$ coffee?" (and we dont have starbucks in my state to have experienced the other way lol)

in Italy the request for a big coffee will be "salve, posso avere un caffè grande per favore?", but will remain only a question, because you'll be trown off the bar XD only short here, unless is for the cappuccino, but in that case is only "double" the normal size, or if you ask it "lungo" (long), but again, not more than double the size of a normal coffee in the small ceramic (now even glass) cup. I found a place in Santa Monica with the italian coffee machine (and coffee brand), but even the "1 shot" coffee was too long for italian standards
@Boletos-xi6kx4 ай бұрын
some boys in brazil also uses the word salve, it means save but as a slang its like "whats up"
@Milleisol4 ай бұрын
@Boletos-xi6kx in Italy is a formal way to say "Hi", usually to people you don't know, or in an work environment. Is just a fastest way to greet someone instead of good morning (in Italy we use "good day" too), good afternoon or good evening, which change depending on the part of the day you are, you can always say "salve", but not "buonasera" (good evening) at 9AM or "buongiorno" (good day) at 5PM

In _Haiti,_ they do not speak proper _French_ but _Haitian Creole,_ which is not even mutually intelligible with _French_ itself. It is absurd that Spanish and Portuguese speakers believe they can understand such a language (a speech, and not cherry-picking words that are mere cognates of French).

Pay attention to what she said at 10:53. _Haitian Creole_ is a French-based creole language. Nonetheless, it is not mutually intelligible with _French_ anymore. Nowadays, Creole is a separate language. Haitians can understand standard French, but French speakers can't understand Creole.
