Batman deserved so much better

Arkham batman is literally closer to the batman comic. This is literally like an imposter. Real batman wouldn't die easily like this.

What a terrible way to end not just the Arkham Batman character but Kevin Conroy and his entire legacy of playing this character. Decades of being the definitive voice of Batman from the animated series, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, the Arkham Games, the Injustice games and all the other animated projects he was a part of just to be reduced to this. R.I.P Kevin Conroy, you will be missed.

This seems like a Back 4 Blood moment, where most of the devs from past games are gone, but still "made from the creators of" moment

i feel like this game would be less offensive to fans if it simply just didnt exist in the same continuity as the arkham games. obviously you can still not like the game, but it wouldnt have shattered a fan favorite interpretation of the character.

Imagine if in Chadwick bosmans final performance as Black panther he was thrown on a bench then shot by one of the thunderbolts The Arkham verse has forever ruined it’s reputation and no multiverse or time travel can ever fix that

This is even worse than Joel's death, we followed this version of Batman for four games and he went out like a dog. Hope this game bombs Rocksteady.

I seriously don't understand why they had to make this an Arkhamverse game. I mean, Deadshot was already established as a white guy in Arkham City, Batman canonically disappeared and was presumed dead, Joker was dead, Poison Ivy was dead, Harley was the least redeemable she ever was. I mean, look how hard the game had to scramble just to justify half of their story decisions, like bringing up multiverses (a plague on modern storytelling) just to bring back the Joker. It literally would have been easier if this was a brand new universe with no connections to Arkham.

Batman shouldve been a melee fight. The scarecrow references were cool, but a fight where if you dint notice him right away he takes you down wouldve been more interesting and would be how he actually fights

Sushi squad isn’t canonical. It was made by fake try hard fans who aren’t the original makers of the story. The original creators have opened up their OWN game studio and it’s the only studio I will be paying attention to for Arkham canon from this point forward.

It should be noted that Rocksteady had no way to know that Kevin was going to die. This game was never intended to be his final performance as Batman. It was forced into that position due to his passing, so holding this portrayal against them is unfair.

I’ve been following the arkham series ever since I got arkham city for my 8th birthday present. To me, the way it ended in arkham knight was already a great send off for the series. But this is disappointing. To know that robin died, alfred is nowhere to be seen. The bat family?? I don’t understand why they had to put this game in the same universe. I mean, from what she said, it does make sense, and in Injustice 2 she does something similar, but even in Injustice 2 she still fell under the fear toxins effect. Rocksteady should make their own version of gothams knights following the events of Arkham Knight it would make sense and they could reuse the lines Bruce says to Robin during the contingency plan scene, it would be better than whatever this game was, it would give Batman a better/proper ending, and it would be cool to see Robin, Red hood, night wing and oracle interact in the Arkhamverse
