Lords of the fallen walkthrough From the Season of Revelry new patch the Offerings of Orius update brought us many good things. new spells, throwables, but the most important thing of all is the new weapon abilities from boss weapons you can unlock by doing certain secret actions. from Issac's Quest to the Tortured prisoners Quest and a few things in-between we have found most of the weapons abilities and unlocked them. with the help of others we now have saint Latimer's relic spear as well as the hushed saints halberd special attack and judge clerics Radiant weapons and corrupted sword. and Tancred's Mancatcher. this video is how to get the boss weapon special attacks. how to get lords of the fallen boss weapon special attacks weapon arts special

The fact you can get locked out of doing these quests & not be able to get the ability unless you do another play through is the dumbest thing these devs could have done. Just add quests that are able to be done at any time why are they so obsessed with adding tedious quest lines that can easily lock you out for missing or failing a step. Drives me insane bc this game has so much potential

@TheRealMasterChiefOfficial 7 is the magic number for me too 🤣 I think I have her weapons and armor laying around somewhere. Talk to her at shrine of Adir and get the saw. And then get the meat from the light reaper the Pyro lady and the spurned progeny then have her eat it. Talk to her rest Talk to her rest. Until she runs out of dialog or until she disappears. Then talk to her at the end game castle and she should give you her weapon on clothes

Dude Ive come across your vids in my home page probably 10 times already and watch them everytime even if its something i already know how to do or already done just because of how enjoyable your videos are to watch, seriously you’ve captured the perfect amount of seriousness, jokes, and sarcasm and your voice isn’t how every single over excited tutorial youtuber sounds screaming into the mic making vids that cater to 5 year olds, its nice and laid back while still being completely understandable and not monotone the entire time. I honestly believe you have the potential to amass a life changing amount of subs if you keep on grinding and putting out quality content like this. Btw just subscribed :)

Sometimes work gets in the way and causes me to be late uploading relevant content that would get me more views, like tomorrow is my first day back to work and the next patch is supposed to come out if they keep to the weekly schedule 😁 but I'll do my best to keep up and keep the quality as I catch up to the rest

Yeah I did saint Latimer's spear again tonight and had to reset a couple of times because Stomund kept getting the final blow. 🤣 glad you was able to get your weapons special attack. These steps are a little tedious and for some reason they don't always work

I hate that you have to have the shield for the hushed saints halberd. And the shackles for Dervla's Sword. It's kinda silly because no other weapon needs something else they just have to be plus 10 and the steps needed to unlock the ability

If you are in the normal world anything that has not been flayed yet will show butterfly's. But if you already flayed it then it won't really be there.

Cool ability's I just wish they had more special weapon effects for duel Weapons other then the light Reaper and Peta and Elianne swords.

Yeah it's a bit weird how the single weapons have 2 attacks but the duel weapons only have one. I think Pietas sword and Elianna's Sword should both have a special of their own. And I really want the iron wayfarer hammer to have a special like when you summon him and he be slinging all that umbral magic everywhere with each hit 🤣

@@mr.nobodyeldensouls I wish Elianna's the Starved had 60 frostbite and Umbral weapon applied 60 frostbite. Currently Umbral weapon is only weapon to not give any status effect making it the most worthless weapon buff. The color scheme of sword suggests that it is suppose to be umbral weapon but it almost looks like a bug.

Unfortunately recently I had to restart my play through to get the light reaper swords with the special attack because i lit the beacons causing the light reaper to not spawn after the mini boss in the Abby of hallowed sisters so I have to redo the quest line but your guide is so good and I want these swords so bad I’m willing to do this for them despite this thx the the help man excited to finally get these swords and finally have my ultimate build for pve and pvp and player vs Timothy lol

You Should be able to get them requardless if you lite the beacons or not

Talk to the iron wayfarer in all his locations to get his help and then he should spawn in. Or at least he did on my game

I need feed back lol make sure you let the light reaper kill you in fitzroy gorge and fref of the chill curse and he should show up in upper calrath after judge cleric even if you lit any of the beacons or did the iron wayfarers quest or not. He should always show up when you go to the area on your way to Bramis Castle

Funny, my judge clerics radiant sword and spear werent working and I was certain id done everything other than the hollowed sentinel prayer, walked there in 1 minute and tried again without ever even unequipping them and they worked immediately. So that really is apparently a step lol!

i picked the game recently beacuse i am waiting for elden ring DLC and i got 30 hours in rn, i summoned some one to help me and he used pieta and elianna swords special, and i was like "omg light sabers", google send me here and now that i see what you have to do to get them to work, man, thats a lot of time and stuff for something that souls games does already when you use boss weapons with the stats requirements.

Yeah I'm ready for the dlc too! Can't wait to see what all broken weapons shadow of the erdtree gives us 🤣 but yeah this game seems like that made it as tedious as possible and makes it to where you have to play multiple times just to get the cool shite. It's a real headache unlocking them all

Yeah I know and as far as I know they never released the actual steps needed to unlock them. So we are still guessing to this day! They confuse difficulty and rewards with tedious and aggravating

Yeah. That is what suck about it really. The design everything that requires you to do multiple playthroughs. They should be unlocked when the weapon is maxed out. But no they want to send everyone on a wild goose chase and telling no one the actual steps needed to unlock everything. I was mad when I couldn't do the light reapers special my first playthrough because I defeated him early

@@mr.nobodyeldensouls fr, Im doing an poison impaler build so I’m using the saints spear so seeing such i nice ability for it actually gets me pissed, I’m loving the gameplay and the bosses but man there are a number of questionable design choices like this and also how many enemies can spawn at a time in umbral just to name a few

@@syphonexp4695 when the red reaper is killed he drops eye of Marco the axe. Equip it into your first lantern slot and all the smaller enemies in the umbral will fear you. Yeah its basically their first real game. A new studio took over and just remade it from the original. They literally don't have too much experience with creating games so they made a lot of mistakes. Or at least that's what I hear

Well I did the Hush St Halbert quest just like described in the video (with the exception of Summining Stromund because I was doing Kukajin quest). I upgraded the weapon to plus 10 and have all the equipment on and there is no special attack. Very frustrating. Any recommendation to try? Much appreciated Thxs.

For the spear it doesn't matter who you summon but for the hushed saints halberd you have to summon stomund for that fight and then do the Halloween Event.

I think it's stupid how they tied these things to summons because in order to get the weapons art you have to abandon Kukajins quest. The Developers really didn't think things through....or they may have did it on purpose to force use to play more if we want the things they added idk sorry bud finish Kukajins quest and summon stomund on a new playthrough next time around

Then add the fact you don’t know this when playing but are expected to guess right to use an ability that makes the game more fun and enjoyable?? Super frustrating. Please pardon my rant. Cheers

So now I thankfully got back to the light reaper and he showed up and everything worked and I’m on the final step to finally get these swords with the special attack that actually works now but I’m stuck on defeating him because I’m on ng+ and can t find out how to beat him but other then that I made it to the swords any tips for beating ng+ Lightreaper ?

Edicts aim with explosive bolts and lots of ammo lol or you can just murder him the old fashioned way. But that automatic crossbow hits hard and stunlocks if you don't have explosive bolts then cinder bolts will do

Do you have the shackles on and is the sword at plus 10? If so it should be working by pressing L1 +R2 at the same time.....or vice versa lol I forgot. But after completing the preachers quest line it should be working

Does anybody know if the NPC's have to survive the boss fight for any other ones that require summons? Trying to do Paladin Isaac's quest to get the Lightreaper special attacks and keeping him alive is just about impossible on an Inferno build.

No Issac just needs to be summoned. None of them have to survive the battle lol in my fight Issac Kept walking in the lava and the light reaper specifically targeted him lol

Well I got special attack on the spear but than it stopped working the single attack worked was trying to figure out why the two handed special attack wouldn’t work wracking my brain than a brilliance of thinking. It needs soul flay charges. 🤦🤦🤦 so I went and found Timothy man was he in a bad mood

Good tutorial but the latimer spear isn’t working for me did I miss a step, 1.kill latimer with stormud 2. Get spear 3. Kill hushed Saint with spear and stormund while getting last hit with spear

You have to make sure you get the last hit in. And the spear is at plus 10. But yeah sometime even when it seems like you get the last hit it still doesn't work so you have to reload and try again. The game is very buggy

Im doing the ardent enemy as you show but killed already 20 and it still doesnt count it, not sure what Im doing wrong, using the flail with the radiant imbue like all the others, it doesnt work

If your doing the Illuminator Aubrey quest just the flail should do. What does the statue say? People have been having problems with the umbral quest. You talking about the little guys with the maces at the bellroom? Try going to a different statue and then come back to that one later. It may be bugging out

Ok you are talking about the spiked headed dudes. Try killing the one by the vestige 10x with the flail and see if it works. If it doesn't then it's bugging out a bit. Try going to a different one and come back to that one later. If you check it later and it still doesn't work. Check the place where you get the armor to see if that door opens anyway. If not then it's just bugging out and really nothing can be done until the next playthrough. If you did the gesture and it says to illuminate them and you are killing the spike head guys with the fail it should work

No I do not believe they do. But then again I haven't been invading much because it's terrible and haven't fully tested them. They may work If the person you invade unlocked their's. But that's just a guess. Yeah in my walkthrough of how to get the light reapers special I showed my first invasion trying it out and was confused that it didn't work. I was so disappointed too because I made a whole build to use in pvp base solely on that attack smh 🤦♂️

No, boss weapons don’t work when you invade. The only specials that do is the additional weapons you get. Like the God Armour weapons. The radiant don’t for some reason

Yeah some will automatically unlock. But others if you already past that point will have to be redone. I agree. This being my 6th playthrough I should have most unlocked already. But sadly no. They should already have the special when you get the weapon, that way you don't have to give up any questlines in the process. Specifically Kukajins quest

I almost quit the other day. Took me 10 attempts to do Eli. On ng 1. Umbral made it much better with a maxed whisper shield. But once I killed her I logged off. Logged back on and it rerolled my game. I have ptsd on exiting the game after saving and quitting now

Wtf!? Yeah this game definitely has a lot if issues. Let me tell you if your having trouble with anything just use edicts aim crossbow and explosive bolts. That combination can carry you through the whole game if you have enough ammo 🤣

Did you complete the quest? Herold of the maw? As long as you did the puzzle it should be working. If you have them dropped or anything I really don't know if they would work or not but if you did the puzzle and they are plus 10 and you press L1+R2 at the same time then it should work

You have to have summoned stomund for the hushed saints boss fight. Then after you finish the Halloween Event you have to have the halberd at plus 10 and the shield idk if you need plus 10 or not but you have to have the shield for it to work. R1+L2 AT THE SAME TIME I believe is how it works. I haven't been on in a while

But I don't think the special attacks work in pvp. Besides the ones from the most recent side quest Harold of the maw and the hammers. But yeah this channel was elden ring pvp until lords of the fallen came out. I guess now it's going to be a little bit of both. But if I can get decent match ups I'll dip into the pvp side of this game again

What part are you on? You have to complete her quest. Start off by freeing her then giving her they eye. Then talking to her in the boss arena while wearing the nobles dress. Then give her the note. Then she should show up at the end game. Give her the swaddling clothes and she should be ready to summon

Omg not even 3 minutes ago I managed to summon a random guy to destroy the light reaper and after five attempts we did it and now I have the swords which I immediately upgraded to plus ten each and now am getting a respec item for my lightreaper build thank you a million man could not have done it without you and this random guy you both saved my playthrough

Well as far as I know from what the other guy said. It may not be required but then again I'm not that invested in investigating every possibility lol. You may get by with just defeating him normally. But it would be crushing to do all of it and figure out that you DID need that step to get the weapons special. And then you will be stuck with having to wait another playthrough lol it may not be required. But it works 🤣 the developers didn't give us any type of clues at all

Kill the red reaper and get eye of Marco the axe then equip it into your first lantern slot. All the little creatures in umbral will be scared of you. Except for those damned gargoyle things that bomb you from the sky and scratch people's faces up. I hate those things lol

I'm going to tell you the secret to getting the best weapons from Lords of the fallen what you got to do first is you got to eject the disc then you got to smash it up into pieces and throw it in the trash. then you take the game case that says dark souls or elden ring or Bloodborne or lies of p and then you put one of those in the disc drive it's really important that the disc does not say Lords of the fallen on it that's the trick lol That's the secret 😂😂😂 to getting the really good weapons and then once you got one of those other games playing boom you're in there lol😂😂😂😂😂

Then after you do the Halloween quest you should be able to do it as long as you have the shield to go with it. I hate the saint Latimer's spear requirements because even if you do get the last hit with it , it still has a chance of not working. I would suggest hard saving right before that one and then delete the save from console if it doesn't work when you murder him. I haven't played it in a while but I still remember most of it

You have to play it more than once to truly enjoy it. But then again it's not for everyone apparently 😁 with all the mixed reviews mostly coming from people who has played it once or less than once. I admit it was very tedious my first time through but with my character leveled up and my edicts aim crossbow, the game improved drastically. It doesn't live up to the souls series but it's still fun if people give it a shot from a different view point. Half seem to love it while the other half hates it.

I just upgraded my hushed halberd to +10 because i heard there were special attacks for boss weapons, wish I’d of watched this first because thats a genuine pisstake what you gotta do for that. The grind to get it to +10 was hard enough without how much of a capitalist state mournstead is. Fuck this, like literally just reward the player with designing good movesets, the idea of unlocking new moves when you get to +10 is cool, then utterly ruined by all this side bullshit

Yeh once I saw that about summoning stomund I thought damn i’ve already missed out then. It’s exactly what the game was missing as well more unique moves on weapons, the weapons are fun but similar to elden ring or most souls games half the weapons play the same, there is still a lot of good weapons. But after playing Lies Of P, Nioh, Wo Long, and bloodborne weapons in other souls games don’t cut it. I much prefer less weapons, but more unique movesets overall

Pvp and the game itself could have been so much better if they actually looked into why souls games are so successful. They reached for the stars and couldn't get close to the light. It's a good game and I did love it for a while. But after completing just about everything and 7 playthroughs later, I am just burned out on it

But tbf it’s actually a pretty good soulslike and tops a lot of the other ones. It has beautiful locations, decently fun combat, but also provides very frustrating moments, like some enemy placements just screw you over, some bosses like paladin isaac were ridiculously annoying. I also found the enemies to be very repetitive, even a lot of enemies that have different designs share the same moveset. The game is a mixed experience for sure

And now that I have Done everything and the only achievements that are left is the collecting of all armor,weapons and ammo types. It has me sitting here like...."meh" I don't care enough to create a new character because pvp is shite. I waited about an hour tonight trying to get a connection and got absolutely nothing.

I still get frame drops and with these new add ons a lot of players are having problems like corrupted save files or not being able to get the quests to work. It's a fun game but I'm not going to praise them for trying to fix something I payed full price for that should have already been fixed. Miyazaki will always be king. Sorry bud it is a great game and I think people should give it another chance whenever everything is fixed....if it gets fixed. And I have grown to enjoy this game despite all the problems. But fromsoft makes better games period. Maybe with some time these developers can make a game to change that. But as of right now they have a long way to go. For the people who doesn't read patch notes or watch walkthroughs, they will have no idea that most of the stuff they added even exists. Who's going to know to walk up to a shrine in a dark area and think to themselves " this looks like I should perform a gesture" 🤣 no one . They could at least give us in-game hints

I wish it wasn’t, but it is. I do recognize that the devs are trying their best, but sadly it feels like a lost cause at this point. And yes, we do want to “d ride” fromsoft as you put it, because they almost never disappoint with their games.

Listening to you "give advice" about soulflaying every stigma you come across seems odd to me. Does anyone playing this game not soulflay everything they see? Isn't that like half the game? If you are one of those people who doesn't do stigmas, please say so here.

Yeah, but some players (me included) usually don't chill too long in Umbral and do not pay much mind to any blue moth swarms around the Stigmas when in Axiom aside from the boss ones so I may have missed some myself

I enjoyed it while it lasted. There's just nothing else to do and nothing else to cover anymore. But yeah it had a lot of problems at launch but it was a really good souls like if you could ignore how tedious everything was. I had a blast once I had everything and could just plow through everything

Yeah or once you upgraded them to level 10 or whatever. It's a lot of work just to get abilities that really don't make a big enough impact to be worth all the trouble to get them but yeah I agree

Bro and how do you exactly perform the weapon art on General Engstrom's hammers? I beat him, acquired his hammers...but I simply can't do any weapon art. Even switched places with the hammers (left hand, right hand). Do I have to do anything still??

@@HitokiriShin upgrade them to plus 10 is all I know of. After you beat him and do the laughing gesture to make the hammers appear and upgrade them to plus 10 that's all I know about.

On recent years ive grown really tried of souls games, mainly because i play them too much. I didnt care too much for elden ring. It was fun and really inspiring the first run but upon replays it felt....boring, empty, and it takes too long to get to the real good bits. Lords of the fallen first trailer had me super hyped. It seemed like such a cool new souls like with new ideas and such awesome looking world design and art direction....then you play the game and its just...i just coudlnt stop asking "are the game developers really thus stupid??" How do you create so many quests but make them all so easy to completely fuck up and fail? How do you make so many mistakes and bad enemies and terrible glitchy world design and just release the game like that? Even the fixes to all these glitches are just...not helpful. Idk. Its not good. It CAN be fun at times with friends but its so hard for me to want to play it anymore. Its sad cuz i dont wanan play fromsoft games anymore either became unlike the lords of the fallen devs, fromsoft devs dont guveba fuck about theur fans and never fix shit

Fromsoftware gave up since the last patch lol what are you gonna play? I love souls games mainly for the pvp. So when lords of the fallen trailer started floating around I was hyped to. But like you said it's a mess. They have done a lot to improve it but still has a lot of issues. Why? Because the actual people who made the game are pretty new from what I heard and the producers wanted their money and they knew the game wasn't ready for release. But even though it still has its fun moments. I enjoy both elden ring and LOTF and I may go back to darksouls 3 if shadow of the erdtree takes any longer. But different strokes from different folks. But I gotta ask. If you don't like either game, why click on the video in the first place? I appreciate the comments and different view points. But this is a walkthrough my good man 😁
