This will mess up everyone's situation. Check the July 2007 visa bulletin and on July 2nd itself they had to put all EB as unavailable, everyone lost current status. Very unlikely to happen, plus will be a major loss of income for the USCIS.

What do you think about consular process. Will this make things faster people who are outside the USA?

Hi. Thank you for the content you present on your channel, I have learned a lot about the Green Card process. My question is regarding the backlogs for the EB2-NIW category. I think we all have known that there are huge backlogs for India and China. I ask my friends about it and the only thing they tell me is that GC processing is very very slow. Do we know based on past data what is the average time it has taken for applicants from these countries in getting their Green Cards or the time taken at different stages of the GC process? Are there any trends (decadal or annual) or data points that we could learn from? The social media is fraught with vague estimates, some say 5 yrs while some talk about next life, which is not helpful and discouraging. These are not backed by data but on perception. I couldn't find this analysis online from other sources. It would help to know the estimated duration to plan other aspects of our lives. Please share if you know of any weblinks, sources to understand the trend. Thank you! And keep up the good work!

If I understand correctly, new proposal applicable for employee based category right? Not for family based .. i130 approved now staying in USA... Is this applicable to them as well?

I think this may get approved. I see some connections with Mod's visit where he requested reducing IV wait times for Indians. Now this move by an Indian with this much supports me to formalize this. While Indians will be the primary beneficiaries of this, everyone else will also benefit.

My case is f3 and paority date jul2012. Now case is nvc last two years. I got welcome letter last two year .so when my case started plz ans .

Why always employments applicants how about family visa we need to join our family as well I think we are the priority coz of kids is far from parents it should be a priority not employment visa it’s crazy though so disappointing

What about the F3 immigrant status. My family has been waiting for 20 years now for their visa priority date to become current. All their children have aged out and can't immigrate with their families.
