Seems like the first situation YOU the player gets caught even after killer breaks in and manages to get away the second one you play as the KILLER that’s why you see the hatch and the house looks different the 3rd one is YOU trying to escape after you been caught

Scenario A: You are the killer, trying to stop your kidnapped victim from escaping/killing you while scenario C is playing out. Scenario B: You are a random person seen dead in the basement (the original owner of the home) You are the only one asked if your home is safe since you are the only one being attacked. Scenario A doesn't ask you if you are safe, neither does C. Scenario C: You are the person attacking your kidnapper. If you alert him he comes from the room scenario A takes place.

Yes. He doesn't use the knifes to kill you he uses them to cut the alarm so the police don't come. He kill you knifes or not
