I actually like the Rizal ending since I believe that Filipino culture as we know it is both native and Spanish culture melded together. My issue (as were the issues of our countrymen at that time) were the abuses of the Spaniards. This could be fixed in 2 ways: either by the Rizal ending which would give the nation greater autonomy (think how the Dominions of the British Empire were given autonomy over internal affairs with Britain taking charge of foreign affairs and defense and eventually giving even those up hence why Canada and Australia are fully sovereign nations) or by further integrating the Philippines thus making it a province of Spain and not a colony (this would be by giving Filipinos the chance to vote representatives for the Spanish Cortes or Parliament). However, considering our distance from Europe, the path of giving greater autonomy seems more doable. Well, pity that Spain didn’t wise up.

Samurai Ending At the height of its Golden Age during the Heian Period, Japanese Traders establish settlements around the Lingayen Gulf. Later on during the 1500s, a trader known as Naya Sukezaemon consolidated these settlements to form the Ruson Domain and adopts the name, Luzon Sukezaemon. This domain then dominates the nanban trade especially once the Spanish came to Luzon in 1571. Being under the Tukogawa Shogunate's rule, Luzon became much more brave in conquering Manila and its great harbor on the Manila Bay. Together with the pirate Tai Fusa, they agreed to band together and take down the burgeoning Spanish Colony and due to overwhelming numbers, were able to successfully ransack the city.
