I love the OST arrangments in this version of the game. I thought the original Ex-Death theme was badass, but they've taken it to a different level. Can't wait to play this version.

The PR did Exdeath so much justice. I would loop the GBA Decisive Battle for hours playing WoW back in 2006. I was always upset that subsequent arrangements never captured the metal that was clearly present in that and his main theme. That the PR arrangers felt the spirit of Exdeath as much as me brings me extreme joy. Decisive Battle is my favorite Final Fantasy boss theme and I rep Exdeath wherever I can. I've been on Exodus in FFXIV since ARR came out because of him.

I prefer the straightforward, "Galuf has died," from the fan translation to the dumb, "Galuf's flame has flickered out," here. That's not even Galuf's element, that's Faris', Galuf's is earth.
