I love Ken's facial expressions every time he goes for a drink, and everytime something shocking happens.

They had Kane Hodder, Jason's most popular actor, do the mo-cap for this game. The way he manages to exude so much menace through Jason without any words is just incredible. There are so many small, subtle things that even translate through the mo-cap.

FUN FACT the motion capture was done by Kane Hodder the literal Jason Vorhees from the movies, the guy has a genuine passion for brutal kills in the arts

Ken really want to make sure that everyone know that he's Loki as if the horn is not enough that he have a pin 😂.

The makers of the game contact Tom Savini, better known as the sultan of horror who was actually an executive for a few of the first Friday the 13th movies, to design a new look for Jason, one that would resemble what Jason would look like if he ever escaped from Hell after being dragged down there at the end of Jason Goes To Hell. His weapon of choice for the costume is the pitchfork of Lucifer himself, which Jason forcefully took from the Devil. The Savini Jason outfit was pre order exclusive DLC content, so not a lot of people had it. But someone leaked the costume in the game stores for Xbox players which is how I managed to get my hands on it. It’s a pretty cool design if I do say so myself. And the kills with the pitchfork are remarkable. I like the one where Jason stabs the councillor in the back of the head. That’s my favourite pitchfork kill. My favourite 2 kills all together is the head punch, from Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan, and the sleeping bag kill from Part 7: The New Blood, and Jason X. 14:50 this outfit is from part 5: A New Beginning. This Jason isn’t actually Jason, but an imposter by the name of Roy Burns who used Jason’s identity to cover his killing spree, because one of the Councillors at the prison camp killed Roy’s son in an uncontrollable rage, and he wanted revenge. (Fun fact: the triangles on the cheeks of Roy Burns hockey mask are blue, instead of red. And they’re upside down. Which should’ve been a dead giveaway that he was an imposter.) Edit: I forgot to add the first timestamp. Lol

It is stunning how much you both look like the characters you are dressed like...like you could both be on a Disney + show as alternate universe versions of Loki and Hela and I would believe it.

Ok now that makes me want to rewatch the whole Friday the 13th franchise again, one of my all time favorite slasher/horror movie franchises. A lot of the kills are either ones Jason actually did in the movies or based on the movies and many of the characters you play are characters from the movies as well.

9:08 Thats my favorite kill. The reason is cause its the exact same way his mom, pamela vorehees, the origional killer was killed in the first movie. Had her head cut off by a machete, just like that. They even had the hands come up and make fists. Shows jason will never forget witnessing his dear mom's death, which drove him to become the pyscho he is now.

Those costumes are absolutely legendary

I saw a panel for this game at PAX South in 2016 and the amount of care the devs had put into it was crazy. They even got Kane Hodder who plays Jason in several movies to do the mocap work for the kills. It seemed like it was going to be a great asymmetrical multiplayer game which has been hard for devs to get right. Annnnnnd then issues with licensing killed the post launch game development and support.

Definitely awesome costumes, guys! =) Cosplay in general feels like a fun thing, and with the right/mostly the better, gear, one can look real cool.
