Fun facts: Medic has stolen the souls of the rest of the team, the demomans eye is haunted and attacks them each Halloween, wich is an in-game event, no one knows what pyro is, the soldier is not a real soldier, but a crazy man, wich got crazier due to contaminated water, and there is so much more, this game is ridiculous and thats why its so great

That beginning part with medic so great. You immediately realize he's insane, because he tells his patient, who's chest is open and is awake (also medic doesn't have any gloves), a story about he lost his medical license. Then he's more worried about his pet pigeon being dirty than any damage or contamination it being inside heavy's chest. To top it off, he has a spy head in his fridge.

The Orange Box was a game completion released by Valve back in 2007. Back in the olden days when they released physical copies of PC games. The main feature of it was supposed to be the Half Life 2 expansion but it also came with Team Fortress 2 and a little game called Portal which of course was an out of nowhere hit.

One thing about the Heavy is that he's actually extremely smart. He has a PhD in Russian Literature, he's just not necessarily the best at English, so he uses whatever words get the point across, even if it's not the precise meaning he wants.

Engineer have 11 PhDs so for him playing with that big fingers is probably a piece of cake. Also Heavy might sound like he is stupid but he have Phd in russian literature. That thing that Medic does is called Übercharge it makes him and person he is healing immortal for some time. Sandwich is item that Heavy can Equip, when he eats it it restore him some lost health or he can throw it on the ground where his teammate can take it and it will restore health to that teammate. Also fun fact Spy is Scouts dad. Next you should watch Expiration Date and there is also a lot of fanmade animations. I really recommend Tribute, whole Fedora Chronicles series, Burning Through Space 1 and 2, Overwatch vs TF2 1 and 2. That is just a few of my favourite animations there is much more that you can watch. Some animations have profound story and some are just funny. It's up to you what you want to watch. Also I like all the characters but if I had to choose I would choose Spy, he is just an elegant french man. His primary weapon is revolver but mainly you want to use his knife because when you stab someone in the back it kills them instantly, than he can use his watches to become invisible or even to fake his own death how that works I have no idea but it's cool, he can disguise himself as someone from enemy team so he can walk around them and killing them without no one even noticing, he's also equiped with a thing called sapper and that is Engineers nightmare it can destroy his buildings and when you are not close as an Engineer you can say goodbye to your buildings. Really good Spy is pretty much everyones nightmare, because he alone can dominate entire enemy team. But before you go to that stage were you're everyones nightmare you need to practice a lot. I would say that Spy is high risk but high reward character because when you're starting with Spy you're probably going to be killed by everyone in game but when you spend those hours practicing your movement and learning trickstabs like stairstab, cornerstab etc. you're gonna be that nighmare for every player.

There's lots of attention to detail in these films. Especially the spy one. They drop a lot of hints that the Scout is the real spy. (He doesn't know the door code.)

Your reaction to Pyro... Was exactly the same as mine. I laughed hard in this one for sure! There are two theories about his visions: One, the optical mask changes his perception. He doesn't remove it for anything, so, it's probably true. The other, for me the most credible one, he suffers from schizophrenia, a mental illness that makes it hard to understand what is real and what is not. Anyway, Pyro freaks everyone... But he's actually quite friendly. He honestly tries to make his friends and teammates happy, and will do anything to protect them. In special Engineer, who is the only one who talks to him and tries to understand what he's answering. One of Pyro's main jobs is to protect the team (in special Engineer's machines) against enemy Spies, something he's very good on.

When me and my boyfriend played this I was always the Pyro and you could actually get goggles that made the game look like the rainbow world lol

Once the medic activates his ubercharge the teammate he's healing becomes invincible including himself. Heavy found a way to outsmart bullet.

As other folks commenting have already suggested, you're gonna have a blast watching "Expiration Date" :D It was supposed to be the pilot episode for an actual animated show on Adult Swim featuring the TF2 characters but sadly Valve took too long to complete it and the deal fell through... I am still sad thinking about what could have been because there is so much potential. Besides Expiration Date there is "End of the Line" a fanmade, unvoiced short film that was made for a big game update. "Jungle Inferno" is an official short animation made by Valve for another big update. I hope you guys enjoy your ride through the crazy fun time that is Team Fortress 2 SFM :)

Spy was my favorite of them all especially with that “youre mother” joke and even had the info to prove it XD! And fun factor the team also has comic and in one of them scout killed a bear using of the bones of amelia earhart

"can that actually happen in the game??" yes, in fact most valve trailers arent random story or stuff, but rather to explain how the game works (or show some features atleast)

21:50 Lore wise, Pyro actually just randomly appeared out of nowhere and started spraying the other team with fire while everyone else stopped and just stared at him in disbelief. It's not known what his identity is or where he came from, although the current theory is that he's a particularly severe victim of schizophrenia that escaped from a mental asylum close to that particular battlefield after destroying it and killing everyone inside (The lore includes an asylum burning to the ground with no survivors shortly before he makes his first appearance in the comics). Interestingly, the reason he likes fire so much is because without it, the cheery rainbow land seen in his trailer turns into a depressing shade of gray and monotone. This can be verified by equipping a special mask in game to see what the world is like through his eyes. It's pretty tragic, once you really think about it To add on, Heavy has several lunchbox items that can replace the usual shotgun that he has in his secondary weapon slot. There are several different food items (the sandwich is one of them) and with the exception of one, all of them serve to heal him when eaten and can also be thrown to others (teammates and enemies alike) for them to eat and heal themselves, but each have different characteristics in their healing (For example, the amount of health restored and recharge time). The exception is a food item that's a ribeye steak, which instead of healing when eaten, causes Heavy to run faster and deal more melee damage per punch, but at the cost of making him unable to use his minigun after being eaten

I love how perfectly your "OOOOOOHHHHH" is followed up by Spy's "Indeed"

18:18 It indeed can happen in the game, it's called the Ubercharge and lets you turn you and an ally invulnerable for 8 seconds. You gotta first fill up a meter bar by healing allies though, and if you die then all your Ubercharge progress is lost otherwise it'd be too easy xD

After 6k hours spent in this game I have to say: "You were good son, real good; maybe even the best!"

So a few details. Sandvich was an item added in the heavy update. It replaces his secondary weapon. On a 30 second cooldown he gets a full health restore. You choose between carrying that or a shotgun After meet the spy, Sniper’s character model was updated to add a scar from the fight with spy. When meet the medic dropped, as it said, the game became free to play on steam. The only difference for the longest time between free and premium was cosmetics. Though most players encouraged newcomers to put $5 towards it as the premium upgrade isn’t a monthly subscription but instead a one time purchase. Also after meet the medic, gibbing a scout (kill a scout with an exsplosive attack that does at least 11 overkill damage) has a 1% chance to spawn a dove Meet the pyro….yeah none of us expected that twist.

the sandwich is a health item the heavy can get and toss it to other players and the update that happened with the pryo trailer made i think it's 5 maps that were already in the game have "pryovision" (in game you can get goggles that turns all the characters voices high pitched) with the pryo goggles the maps basically went from yellow dustbowls to peppermint green grasslands and it's the best XD

The last one was the funniest and the creepiest at the same time 😂

Fun fact: If I remember right one of Spy's guns, the Ambassador, has an engraving of Scout's mother along the barrel. It might also have the nickname he called her in French at the end of the trailer engraved on there too, but I'm not entirely sure. I know he definitely has Scout's mother engraved on there.

Yea you can do what the Medic did in game. The Medic's Ubercharge makes whomever his target is completely invincible for a short period of time so long as he keeps the beam on him. The Medic + Heavy combo was pretty commonplace. The point of the Sandvich was originally every character had a single loadout, one primary weapon, one secondary, one melee. When they started to introduce alternative items one of the very first was the Sandvich for the Heavy. instead of his secondary weapon he could have a Sandvich which he could stand still and eat for a second to self-heal.

Nah the nostalgia on this one is too much. I remember playing this in high school all the time.

So the thing about the Pyro's candy land vision is, it's called "Pyrovision", you can actually see those imagined weapons on the pyro if you equip a set of goggles meant to simulate how the pyro sees the world. There's also a special map that changes drastically in visuals if you have those goggles that was specifically included with the Pyromania Update of the game (of which the Meet the Pyro short was the trailer of)

Meet the Pyro is chilling for me, the part where he kicks that door in with the flamethrower ready, along with the music and script, and when he pushes on the trigger, it's amazing yet brutal. And that part where he locks Medic in the building and burns him alive while the doctor is pleading is downright horrifying. (Also like to add that in Meet the Spy, the Red Spy finishes the Blue Spy's sentence. "He could even be-!" "... Right behind you."

Man this game brings back memories, all the way since 2011. Might start reading the comics again, that was more entertaining than it should be haha

Sandvich is "an edible device". It's something that the Heavy can equip, he can use it himself or drop it for a teammate to use. I think its 120 health. It takes a few seconds to consume.

Fun fact: The Phyro doesn't have any brain damage. Its because of his "goggles" that he sees differently than what's really going on. Although, if you're like me, I personally believe he's just always fucking high as a kite.

to answer the sandvich question: yes the sandvich can restore health. there are also 2 foods that the heavy can eat. The Dalokoh Bar is a chocolate bar that can restore health with 100+ health. the buffalo steak sandvich is like the sandvich but once you eat it you can only use melee for a short period of time. theres also a fishcake but its just like the chocolate

Heavy, Pyro, Demoman and Medic were my favorite trailers. Overall, I enjoyed playing as the Heavy and Pyro the most

I loved to play TF2 a while back. I like the comic books they have. The Demoman was my favorite character and I cosplayed has him one year at comic con. It was very fun. I ran into a scout cosplayer and we took a nice pic together. These characters are ridiculous and I love it.
