A 250 voice choir sing the hymn " All Glory Laud and Honour" for Classic Hymns album " Old Rugged Cross"

Recorded live at St Andrews Kirk Chennai in 2010.
With aim to revive hymns Classic Hymns has so far done over 150 hymns of which 6 albums are in English, 2 in Tamil and 1 each in Malayalam and Kannada . Have also done a special Tamil song Neer Mathram Poodhum .See more on Classic Hymns on www.classichymns.in

These beautiful Christian believers in India are showing the western church how these classic hymns should be sung. I've never heard better in my life. My hands raise high and tears come to my eyes many times hearing them. Thank you for the tremendous blessing you're providing to the whole church. We know God is jealous for worship in spirt and in truth and they are delivering it big time.

How wonderful, on this day in Cape Town South Africa during the COVID pandemic, that I can listen to these rich voices singing the traditional hymns of all my life. The hymns are embedded in me, and now we have joined in singing them together. I have sent this hymn on to my sister in Ottawa, Canada, so she can enjoy it too. Today we are in blessed community. I was floored by the beautiful voice sounds of this choir from what I understand in India. I love the melody of this hymn. This choir took this to the level of a heavenly sound.

They deserve a medal for the best choir in the world! The Mormons are great also but these pieces this choir sings, were well chosen! The harmonious 4 parts can be heard throughout! Marvellous!! Again, thanks for sharing!!

These beautiful, traditional hymns often come up in my feed, and I am always uplifted by them. The choir is enthusiastic, but one senses this is not simply about performing: it is true worship of the Living God. That it comes from India is a delight; and a testimony that the Gospel is universal. We are one in the Lord Jesus Christ.

It exist in india especially in Tamilnadu state, which is southern most state part of india, in Tamilnadu state, the most Christians would like go to the church which is called *Church of South India* ( *CSI* ), it function similarly as an anglican church.

The arrangement is so sophisticated. No parish church in America would attempt it. So beautifully done for God and for the edification of the Church. We sing the same hymn on Palm Sunday, and I can still remember chanting the original by Rananus Maurus in Latin. Hope to meet all of you in the Heavenly Choir.

Um, I grew up in Sharon Penna. And we sung this at least once a year with organ . . . And brass. Lots. Of anglican churches uphold a high standard of music, just not the gospel.

I too agree. When added to or changed, these old hymns of our faith are not the same to me. I am now 70 and learned these old hymns at my mothers knee and standing beside her in church when just learning how to read. Many of them I know the words and remember them all these years later. God bless these dear saints who I will meet one day around His throne.

Yes my sisters in Christ will be there in heaven when they believe that the death burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ will save them,, and its not by an attempt to go to heaven by our good works,, ,, its by the Lord Jesus Christ alone and what he did on the cross paying for all sins past present and future to those who believe ,, that it is only in the crossword of the Lord Jesus Christ and his ressurection in the blood of the Lamb, the innocent lamb who took our sins , I did not mean to exclude the awesome women in India praise God for these Hymns sung so beautifully ,, ,, thank God for them , they have been so inspiring and edifdiiying to my faith ,, thank you for your music ministry

One of my favourite hymns. Praise God we all have something deep within us to give thanks for. His great Love. He died for us, took our sins on himself was crucified, died, and on that third, victorious day he arose, gained victory. Death has no power over the grave. Praise the Lord.
