I went for a drift down the Tennessee River looking to put some baits in front of some big catfish. It was an awesome kayak catfishing trip with three big blue catfish coming over the side of the kayak.

Man, Justin, I’ve watched you catch a LOT of big catfish on the white bass this year. That is a big fish bait. Keep doing what you are doing and forget about the negative comments. In my opinion you sir have by far the best catfish channel on KZfaq! Let the haters hate that’s just some people’s nature. The quality of fish you put in your boat are second to none! Justin, so well said and spot on. I've fished for 40yrs and learned that knowing the water, the right baits, and techniques. It is the key. Even not staying on the water to know the right drop, bite, and hook set will get you rusty.

You can't argue with or tell idiots anything that will stick between their ears. Someone else said it best "to argue with a man who has renounced reason is like giving medicine to the dead". Keep doing what you're doing. I watch you and Catfish Dave both and what I appreciate most about you two is, that you do you and he does him. You don't try to be Dave and he don't try to be you. On my channel, I am just me and I apparently suck really bad at Catfish haha. I think all I can consistently catch is trout and panfish. If only they weren't boring to watch videos of lol

Nothing like a good day on the water. I'm 63 and I grew up on the banks but my dad was old school. He would say, "You can catch anything in our waters with a Zebco 33. Back then they had steel gears and ball bearings AND every year a Rep came to the local Sporting Goods Store (Denver) and he would strip your line, replace gears or ball bearings (if needed), grease it, and fill the spool with 12 pound whatever. That's how ZEBCO built their business. Dad's other favorite saying was, "Before there was anything else there were WORMS!" The Nightcrawlers we caught in our yard were 9 - 12 inches long. That's what I fished with growing up on the banks of Colorado. Like Catfish Dave says, "The first thing you'll need is water. Every fish I catch is in the water." PEACE

Love your content and the passion in your spirit man. Occasionally one of your older videos comes up i haven’t seen yet and its cool to see the way you have evolved AND stayed the same. I want to thank you, My quality of fish has went up substantially due to your videos. I have went from “gimmick” baits to fresh caught baits from the body of water I fish and my 20+ lb fish have went way up. I’ve caught probably 50+ fish over 20 in the last 3 months alone and I credit it to you sir. White bass is my bait of choice where I fish in Kansas. Thanks and keep it up!

I have been watching your videos for over a year I do not watch your videos to learn how to catch catfish I'm not trying to find the News latest gadget I watch your videos because you catch big fish consistently... I've lived outside knoxville but only fished lake Cherokee. I now am outside of Memphis. I fish rhe mississippi river and go pick wick below rhe damn . I don't ever worry bout the haters . Heck yeah! Never used chicken for nothing but BBQ!! The key is putting in time in your body of water year in year out weather is always different just gotta figure out what works. If I used chicken id have to be with a bunch kids trying to catch channel cats for fun. Can't beat real bait cause it's what they eat everyday! Common sense goes a long way. Loved it Justin!
