Tekken doesnt even knows that Spiritual Energy and not Spiritual Pressure (Reiatsu) fuels Kido? The heck? How much does he constantly gets wrong? He says about everything it's fueled by Reiatsu. That's wrong. Obviously, if it were fueled by Spiritual Pressure (Reiatsu) the Colour wouldnt be for ever User the same. Bleach Wiki also just says it right (as a Wiki should.).

@@110000116699 Not really. Kido is much more complex, it's just that some don't understand that. What makes it even more weird how much this KZfaqr constantly gets wrong about Kido (and other stuff). He's talking a lot of Nonsense about Bleach overall, and that's kinda embarassing, seeing as he has a Bleach Channel.

Nr.8 Seki... I dont know if you can really create it everywhere you want, but anyway: I am pretty sure that its basically like a bubble: If the opponent is strong enough, he just kicks through it. Kurohitsugis Extreme Power used against Ichigo wasnt strong because of Aizens Transformation, but because now he used it at Full Power. It was not Super-charged, just Full Power. And Ichigo basically just cheated, that's why it didnt worked on him. And yeah, Sokatsui is obviously Fire, not Thunder. Get Pikachu out of your mind, people! It's pretty obvious Aizen created his own Kido Spells, the Spanish Named Ones, and it's pretty obvious Hachigen also created a new Branch of Kido WHAT IS THE HIDDEN PATH?! Why drop something like that and then never explain it at all, Kubo?! Why??

KIDO IS MORE OR LESS THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS MANGAS/ANIMES SYSTEMS OF ANY KIND!! I want to see more Kido! Heck, we have never even seen a Bakudo of Level 40 or 60 AT ALL!!! And no 'binding one' of Level 80! Just Danku! And nothing of the highest Level but the single Biggest One! And no Level 20 or 40 Hado!! And many People have Misconceptions about Kido and what it is! Heck, even Tekken gets a LOT Wrong.

hado#90 is super op because its literally inside of a black hole (or maybe space? equally lethal for humans) the whole point of showing that ichigo could just slap it away, was to show "the difference in power" aside from the constant evolution and instant regen aizen has, ichigo wouldn't have needed mugetsu.

From my understanding, the number Kidos, are written in books and are labeled by numbers based on the kidos strength, that just so happens to also represent the difficulty of using that Kido. Using Kido comes down to understanding how to control your Reiryoku, anyone technically can cast any of the listed Kidos as long as they master how to control their Reiryoku and their Reiryoku is strong enough, or even make their own Kidos, that could, in fact, be as strong or stronger than a listed Kido. I remember seeing or hearing there are 5 levels of Reiryoku, I think it was said the first Arc of Bleach, most Lieutenants are level 3, captains are that of level 4, and then the elites are at level 5, I believe Ichigo would jump from level 2 to level 5 all throughout the first arc, up to the point when he started his Banki training, he then went from level 3 to level 4 with level 5 spikes, this would be the reason why Ichigo could break out of Bakudo so easily, and technically he could use level 90 Kidos with ease, if he wasn't so stupid.

***** You are right, Isshin needs to be blamed more, if you take the time to really think about it he was such a bad father, I would be pissed if my dad was a god of death and passed those powers to me and never told me, never taught me about the past or his family, never told me about the soul society, never taught me to use kido. If at say 8 years old you started seeing ghost, ghost that could speak to you, interact with you, how would you react? Would you be okay? Would you be able to act like everything was okay, or would you be scared to death, or go insane? If you told anyone you would be made fun of or be placed on medicine, if not thrown in a mental hospital. Then after living like this for say 8 years, you find out you got your powers from your dad, who all along has known about your powers and all of the weird shit that has been going on, and rather than trying to help you out like a real father should, he just ignored everything happening and allowed you to figure things out on your own. I mean I would call Ging a better father.

Let me rephrase, Ichigo is not dumb but yes, stupid. He rants on and on about becoming stronger to protect the people around him but does not show any depth of interest in the way of a shinigami. If he had, so many closely related characters could've taught him. Ie Urahara, Yoruichi and even friggin' Tessai. It's all Kubo's fault aaaarghh

I remember this one part back when they were trying to break into the Soul Society that Ichigo had no idea to control reiatsu Ganju told him that the basic image of kido was imagining a circle as dark as you could and throwing yourself into it (I wish Kubo had put some more info on the mechanics of kido into the story)

No he lost it to the kido spell he used, Ittou Kasou, because in the battle you can see his left arm just afterwards grabbing aizens leg and he attempts to kill him using the spell.

@@TrueReverse74 It is pretty obvious from all Observations one can make: Kido must be ‚the Ability to turn Spiritual Energy into ‚Kido-Energy’, which is just Spiritual Energy but programmable. It’s not like Tekken sometimes says ‚powered by Reiatsu’, cause duh, how do you even power something with ‚Pressure’? No, it appeas that Spiritual Energy is turned into programmable Energy, which is then used.

Honestly, I always got the impression, that Kido as a whole, were underwhelming compared to sheer strength (or maybe strength of reiratsu, for that matter). Bakudo spells, almost always failed to keep their target confined, and Hado spells almost always failed to deal any significant damage (instances, where either did work, could be counted on a palm of single hand), to top it all of, Kido would definetly fail to achieve results, when it mattered the most e.g. Tessai's Bankin against Ichigo, Yamamoto's Itto Kaso against Aizen, Aizen's Kurohisugi against Ichigo, and last, but not least, Aizen's Goryutenmetsu against Yhwach. I always thought of this as a shame, since I like the concept of Kido, and perhaps, with better wrinting, Kido could have been an important asset (maybe so important, that Ichigo would have made an effort to actually learn some...), not just flashy special effects (at their worst), or momentary hindrance (at their best).

I agree Kido was always an after thought compared to the swords. Although Kido was more interesting in my opinion. When Aizen did #90 I wanted to know more about it.

@@zeaferjones1404 Damn right! But if course the writers neglected kido entirely in favor of the typical musclebound display of sheer brute force. I know it's a fighting show, but the could've made kido more than just stupid special effects or light shows that don't really do shit. I can understand that they focus on brute strength with Ichigo's battles. He's too stupid to learn about or understand an art of battle like kido. He's not smart enough, just another brainless brute, like typical shonen protagonists.

To further underline your point: There's the Gotei 13, with 13 captains, 13 vice captains and many seated officers and than there's the Kido Corps, of which we know the former captain and vice captain and which is only really mentioned in 'turn back of the pendulum'. It's quite obvious which arm of the Soul Society's military is heavily favoured here. Which is probably why I like Hachi so much, because he seems to be the only character who actually achieves something big with just Kido, more so than a certain shinobi captain with all her might.

Sooo many kidos in Bleach is freaking criminally under-utilized (partly bcuz I guess Kubo only use them as crutch or cool factors in lieu of cool swords with beams). I mean, cmon, it's freakin spirit magic! Yet it suffers the same uncreative application Harry Potter suffers. For the most simple example, let's start with Bakudou #8, "Seki". A reactive barrier that repels incoming force, and correct me if I'm wrong here, by discharging an opposing force equal to the incoming attack. *Why is this only used freaking once??* Imagine this: if Seki's whole schtick is that it counters attacks based on the amount of force that comes towards its wielder, why is it not also used *offensively?* You can literally punch a guy with a Seki-covered fist and your punching force would almost double due to how Seki works. Couple that with high-speed movement techniques like Shunpou, and what will you get? Force multiplication at the point of impact that is heightened by the speed of the punch. A bone-shattering, organ-popping punch that could topple boulders. So lemme state again: *Kidos are so freaking criminally under-utilized.*

Damn straight! So typical that a stereotypical fighting show would neglect magic almost entirely. Especially with Ichigo's battles. Cus has the main male hero. And like typical shonen protagonists, he's dumber than a bag of rocks. He doesn't have the brains necessary to learn or understand kido, so the writers make his battles all about brute force. Cus hey, what do shonen protagonists need brains for? Honestly? All the crazy power and BS plot armor is pretty much handed to them on a silver platter.

Kurohitsugi (black coffin), is a kido spell used TWICE in the series, once on Sajin on Sokyoku hill when Aizen ORIGINALLY left the soul society. He then used it again on Final Getsuga Ichigo during their final battle. Black coffin essentially is a box containing IMMENSE GRAVITY, the gravity is SO STRONG that A COMPLETE kurohitsugi apparently WARPS SPACE AND TIME WITHIN IT! Therefor, if you get caught in it... ur dead son.

Damn, nice compilation. Good to see that I'm not the only one that goes that full fanboy with the Hiryuu Gekizoku Shinten Raihou.XD Also I just realised that in my fanfiction when my kidou-pro-OC uses her over the top combo of 4 Souren Soukatsui and a Hiryuu Gekizoku Shinten Raihou, I almost completely ripped of Vegeta's Final Flash from DBZ for her movement, except she does the form more elegantly as she powers up the "Yokkai Shinten Souren Soukatsui"

Vasto lordes are just the highest level menos. Barragan was one since in flashbacks we see he was human sized, in the Unmasked we saw ulquiorra as a menos and he was also one. The anime had a filler flashback showing harribel as a lorde, and presumably starrk was one as well. Beyond flashbacks though, they've never been seen and we never got to see them in fights except with other menos. Despite being called one by fans Zangetsu isn't a vasto lorde, he's a modified hollow created from shinigami and doesn't fit into the traditional menos hierarchy.

***** Yeah, I'm still salty about that. According to toshiro, adjuchas are meant to be captain level, and vasto lordes even stronger than captains, then getting stronger yet again once they become arrancars. But what did 4 vasto lorde and 5 adjuchas arrancars, ranging from above to massively above captain level manage to do? Zilch. Nothing. Not a single casualty among the shinigami fighting a force that by rights should have steamrolled everyone besides yamamoto and royal guard. Wonderweiss alone beat more captains than the all of the espada combined, just by virtue of beating kensei off screen that one time.

quetch2 I think Wonderweiss might have been a Vasto Lorde as well. Plus, he was made to seal Yamamoto's Zanpakuto. It would explain why he was so powerful.

TEKKING HERE IS AN IDEA! Talk about Ichibe's Bankai! Think about it. If he gets ink on you, he can make you a potato with no powers. But listen to this! If he cuts, lets say, Renji, and renames Renji with the name Ywach, then Renji is suddenly OP as shit and has all the powers he could ever want. How about cutting someone and naming them "Soul King". They could then in turn become the all powerful god of the soul society. The possibilities are endless. It's like Gremmy's Power, but on Steroids, Cocaine and Redbull. Too bad Kubo ruined everything.
