Every time I think of Ball State it's where David Letterman and the 'Boom goes the dynamite' guy went to college. I wonder if University of Buffalo's stadium was a legacy of the debacle known as the 1993 World University Games? Sadly, every time I think of Kent State is from the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young song about the shooting that took place in 1970. The Rubber Bowl in Akron used to have the lights IN FRONT of the stands. Must have looked great on TV. I wonder what Eastern Michigan's field will look like in the upcoming College Football 25 video game?

David Letterman once petitioned to have Scheumann Stadiums name changed to Letterman stadium. I'm bummed because I was going to mention that in the video lol. Same thing for me though the first thing that comes to mind when I hear ball state is "boom goes the dynamite"

Little fun fact, or very sad fact, my aunt went to Kent State when that happened, also I was going to mention the 1993 University games but I did decide to leave it out. I have to leave some cool stuff for when I come back and rank the stadiums. Also great question about Eastern Michigans Field, it will probably look just like it does on TV. Which on TV it looks like those NFL films videos where they take the old game footage from the 30s and 40’s and just add some color here and there to the jerseys and stuff 😂

I've performed at both Yager Stadium (Miami OH) and the Glass Bowl (Toledo) in high school marching band. They're awesome. The turf grass at the Glass Bowl is a lot thicker than most artificial turf fields that I was used to.

Always good to hear from someone who has actually gotten to touch the field. I actually marched and played football in High school. My school had a turf field and that was a pain to march in with cleats on. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere with any thicker turf, especially marching backwards. The way the cleats would catch on to the turf. I was more scared of getting hurt marching than actually playing football 😂

I’m obviously biased as a marching bandsman at WMU, but Waldo just has a certain charm to it that I don’t really see anywhere else. You can see where each addition was made, from the lower bowl to cover the old track to the chair back seats below the press box being where the old press box was. The only thing I dislike about Waldo is how the stands bordering the baseball diamond just have bare scaffolding with nothing surrounding it. I hope that gets renovated at some point

I’d like to visit at some point. I played against Skyy Moore in High school and I tried to watch most of his games while he was at Western. Always thought it was a cool venue

I worked security at 2 games at Doyt Perry Stadium and that's an awesome stadium

I like what Bowling Green has done with their facilities, their basketball arena was very nice as well

Me too it’s a nice stadium with some good history, OU has a great environment too. Especially if you like a good nightlife scene

Been to a few of these Dix Stadium: Pretty nice, serves its purpose UB Stadium: Pretty bad, seats are too far from field, feels like it belongs in the Soviet Union circa 1970 Husky Stadium: Has potential but needs TLC McGuirk Stadium: Sold FCS stadium but below average FBS facility

They aren’t full members of the MAC until 2025-2026, they will be in the FBS independents video I do this year, I thought about putting them in this video but the other one needs to be a little longer.
