So many years since I watched AMC. Was always my favorite soap. 🤓

What memories!! AMC aired just before lunch hour. 7 year old me, sick with a fever and laid on the living room couch as Mom done chores and watched this classic. The theme brings back many emotions. If I could turn back time

Am I old?🤔 I remember vividly watching this when it originally aired. Soaps were at their fierce 🔥 best in those days and times. I'll forever love Greg and Jenny and Angie and Jesse. The most iconic thing about AMC is that Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) in 2020 is just as breathtakingly beautiful now as she was back then. Why don't they make a television channel dedicated to soaps only?

These characters were like family to me back in the '80s. I grew up watching this soap with my older sister who was a teen at the time. She got me into it.

My mom was obsessed with Greg and Jenny as a young adult in the 80s, even to this day she still lights up when their wedding song comes up and it’s so cute!

Greg and Jenny were the most beautiful couple I ever saw. They were the greatest!

I remembered "Just You and I" playing during the montage at their wedding. I bought the song immediately after. I loved Greg and Jenny they were my first OTP. Next came Angie and Jesse. All My Children had me addicted in the 80s. It was my favorite daytime soap and "Knots Landing" and "Dynasty" were my favorite evening soaps. What a great time to grow up.

my 2 fave couples are Jenny & Greg and Jesse & Angie.If only we all had true love like this. It's only on soaps unfortunately.

Great memories, I did not have hear about FB, Twitter ,IG, fake news or Kardashian. What a beautiful year that was..

Oh my goodness! This wedding was such a huge event in my world in 1984. The place that I was working at had a nice lunch room with a TV and on our lunch breaks the staff would watch their favorite soap operas. We had people that watched AMC, people that watched one life to live and people that watched General Hospital. I watched AMC and we had a whole viewing party set up to watch this wedding. We had food brought in. We made sure we didn’t book any clients for the hour after the wedding so that we’d have plenty of time to talk about it… It was so fun! I miss all my children so much, it was my favorite television show from 1976 which is when I started watching until it went off the air. Never missed an episode whether I watched it live or recorded. Thanks for posting this! 😊😊❤❤

Good times, good times. I would love the old AMC, OLTL and GH shows put to video and sold. I would buy each and every one of them and watch them with glee. These were the days of class, beautiful sets and clothing, wonderful storylines and wonderful actors. I miss them. So glad Michael Knight is now on GH and is Laura's half brother. YAY. And Kim Delaney joined the GH cast. i look forward to seeing both actors on the screen together one more time.

Wow this was my program that I watched for 42-years! I sure miss All My Children and the way it ended was awful. Sure wish they would play the repeat soap again.

Is sickening to know that ABC canceled all my children and One Life to Live and put all these great actors and actresses out of work for some fluff pieces they put in their place.

Wow this was my favorite era of AMC! I remember wondering if Adam Chandler had a split personality, only to find out later he had an identical twin, Stuart! Loved Greg and Jenny, hated Greg’s mother though 😂 And Erica was always the best! Thank you for posting!

This was such classic Agnes Nixon: Greg's mother did not want Greg to marry Jenny because Jenny came from the wrong side of the tracks. Erica had made money modeling, but still had no clue what the appropriate attire was for a morning wedding, and Mrs. Wallingford mocked her for it. Meanwhile, old money Palmer was looking to get into (financial) bed with the much wealthier (and much shadier) new money Adam. Agnes Nixon's AMC was always about class, about old money v. new money. It was a fascinating sociological study.

I was in the sixth grade so the only time I was able to watch was during school holidays and summer vacation when I would catch up. I only learned about Jenny's death months after it happened. I was so furious.

The soaps were the BEST back then.

I didn't watch the whole video but I remember watching Jenny n Greg's wedding when it was on...and Erica saying something like, she was sick of Jenny's weddings. It was so funny considering how many times Erica was married. I also remember watching Dorothy Lyman play Opal Gardner and then seeing her again on Mamma's Family playing Naomi. She would fly from NYC to LA to play these different roles. I was so into this soap.

I didn't really watch amc,I watched oltl which came on right after this,but greg and Jenny were so popular as a couple and their love story that I already knew just in soap magazines everything that was going on,same thing with Angie and Jesse, as Darnell Williams is an amazing actor .

Omg I was 6 and I heard the word rape...I was wondering what it was til I was a teen. No wonder my dad didn't like me watching these with my mom. But I mean...who DIDN'T watch these with their mom grandma baby sitters or older siblings.etc. Also I remember when Lisa was with alfred and he smoked a cigar...I learned the word stench meant smell. I named a stuffed pig alfred, that I got for christmas, from the party thrown for kids who's mom's were on welfare. (Mom was not a welfare.queen don't judge...she worked once my brother went to school)

I was a pretty consistent viewer of this show from 1979-1989. Has anybody ever notice how there always seemed to be something sinister present in the studio particularly during those dim lit love scenes? It isn't easy to describe. But you might compare it to invisible spider webs. Of course, these shows were shot on video not 35 or 16mm film. So, there may be something about video technology that can better detect this kind of energy. And modern digital video maybe even more so.

Lord, Enid NEVER stopped about Greg loving Jenny! Hell, the very day of Jenny and Greg's wedding day!!!!!!! I have a feeling Enid's husband was so beaten down by her that death for him came as a relief.

Am I crazy? At about 5:35 I see an a blurb for the show One Tree Hill. Now I know that show wasn't out in the 80s. And Soaps don't show reruns. So how is that even possible??

I remember this so well, but that was not the music they played for Greg and Jenny. While Greg and Jenny were looking into each other's eyes they played the song "you and I" by Crystal Gayle and Eddy Rabbit

I always preferred Adam with Brooke.
