From the bottom of my heart, they should have never cancelled AMC once they did it was goodbye to that network and i will never look back ro support it either. They took a Diamond in the soap genre, and it will never be forgotten rest peacefully to all the phenomenal actors and actresses of AMC gone but never forgotten.

The cancellation of AMC and OLTL is the biggest mistake ABC ever made. They have had no stabilty in those time slots since.

This was the first soap I became hooked on. I really miss it. I began watching in 1973 when I was a freshman at university.. One of my roommates was an AMC fan and she brought at little B&W TV and would watch it every day. Eventually, we all modified our class schedules to include AMC.

The Edge of Night, Loving, General Hospital, Ryans Hope, All My Children and One Life to Live were my favorite soaps. I miss them. I wish they had these shows on indication.

As a 70s kid I’d watch AMC with my grandmother. Seeing some of those who passed brought up childhood memories.

I was 15 when the first episode aired! I was at home from school and sick on that day so I watched that episode. I was hooked until it's demise. That was a really stupid mistake by ABC.

Palmer Cortlandt was a dancer by trade. I saw him in the movie version of the musical Oklahoma with Shirley Jones.

I grew up watching these shows with my mom (All My Children, One Life To Live, General Hospital) and actually kept watching even when she stopped. There will never be a better time for daytime TV than the 80s and 90s. What ashame they got rid of these great shows that were on for decades to make room for today's short-lived garbage

I started watching All My Children when it premiered in 1970. I remember watching As the world Turns with my mom when I came home for lunch in grade school. As a young adult I watched soap operas all day long . My friends and I I would discuss episodes and characters like they were our friends. lol . I miss those days. RIP to all those actors who gave us so much joy and a much needed respit from our own lives.

A lot of these soap opera stars from all my children passed away like in the 2000s, some in the 90s, but more so in the 2000s, I didn’t even know Dimitri passed away and Edmond passed away. Well I can’t believe it, and I liked Adam who also played his brother Stewart played by David Canary, he played a dual role, as himself and twin brother, I’m just so sad that all these wonderful, amazing stars, passed away, but feels like, when they ripped out the floor from underneath these great actors And actresses, it was like they killed them. Canceling these shows felt like a murder if you asked me. Just my thoughts. We got screwed over for some worthless TV show that didn’t even last long, Rip to all the amazing actors and actress of all my children. You’ll always hold a special memory, dear to my heart and soul for your talent and amazing role and gifted acting ability. May you all rest in peace.

louis edmonds was a great actor i watched him as roger collins in dark shadows my all time favorite show. i was fortunate enough to meet him going to a couple of dark shadows festival back in 97 and 99

AMC was the best soap I started watching when I was still a teen I loved this show I mean we go WAAY back when it was still blk and white. Only 30 min. That and General Hospital back when it was still black and white it was great. I. still remember Lucy, Dr Hardy, Audry, and the rest it was only 15 minutes, it was great😀

I grew up, watching all my children with my mom and my grandmother, and my great grandmother, also one life to live as well. It just happened to be that I was sick and I stayed home from school, and my mom, grandma, and grandmother live by the clock, 12 o’clock, all my children, 1 PM, one life to live, and of course 2:00 PM, with General Hospital, But I mostly really truly enjoyed, all my children, and one life to live, and I was devastated, and I was quite pissed off when they canceled both the soap operas, which are great soap operas, they canceled all my children, and one life to live for some worthless, cooking show, called the chew, and they were there another TV show that they Canceled I mean they put in place, but I forget the name of it. I think it was called the revolution or something, needless to say that was garbage, just bull crap, and they cancel our beloved soaps, yeah, to say, I was angry, would be an understatement. 24:10

I have one question why, in the Sam, hell do you have Jacob Young’s picture he is alive!!!
